This is a walkthrough & route list for the fan translation of Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai (Majikoi) by Yandere Translations and Maji Translations . The original developer of the game is Japanese company Minato Soft. This English guide is simply a translation of the original Japanese walkthrough by Seiya-saiga but all the choice texts are adjusted to match the English fan translation.

Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai has routes for 5 different main heroines heroines as well as sub-routes for 3 sub-heroines and 3 “friend” routes. A true end is also available as well as various CG variations or choice dependant scenes. After finishing all of the routes in the guide you should have all CGs. Though the endings for Gakuto, Takuya, and Shouichi don’t seem to be yielding any new CGs but it can be fun to view them at least once for completeness sake.
After stories (and CGs) are available for 4 of the heroines (Momoyo, Kazuko, Yukie, and Miyako).

I) Introduction
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The aim of this walkthrough is to get 100% of the extras (CG, music, replay, and
event) for this game and since the most problematic part is getting 100% of the
CGs, this is the main focus.

If you play this game normally (doing every route one time), you should have
missed between 3 and 6 CGs that you can't get unless you redo some routes a
second time with different choices. With this walkthrough, you should be able to
easily find where and how you can get the missing CGs.

To view the Japanese characters in this walkthrough, you may need to change your
browser's settings: View -> Encoding -> Japanese (Shift-JIS).

II) Gameplay
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The game is split into three phases: the prologue, the character selection
phase, and the character's route.

1) The prologue:
----------------

The prologue is between March 30, 2009 and May 6, 2009.
During the prologue, the choices you're making don't really have any impact.
After completing the prologue once, you will be able to skip it totally during
the next play.
However, if you make certain choices during the prologue, you can get a bad
end.

2) The character selection phase:
---------------------------------

Between May 7, 2009 and June 5, 2009, is the character selection phase.
The character selection screen appears some days during this period and you have
between one to six choices in it.
One of the choices is to stay at home, and the other choices are to interact
with another character.

Each character has a number of red spheres. Every time you choose a character,
the number of red spheres for this character decreases by one. When a character
reaches 0 sphere, you're entering the character's route.

At the beginning when you play the game, you will notice that you don't have
access to all those choices. That's because some of the characters are unlocked
by completing one or several routes or by fulfilling some other conditions.

The five main heroines (Momoyo, Yukie, Kazuko, Chris and Miyako) appear every
day they are supposed to, but they can disappear from the character selection
screen depending on your previous choices.

Gakuto and Moro appear after completing one of the main heroine routes.

Shouichi appears randomly the days he is supposed to appear after completing
one of the main heroine routes.

Chika appears after completing two of the main heroine routes.

Mayo appears after completing three of the main heroine routes and choosing
Chika at least one time in the previous choices.

Umeko appears after completing four main heroine routes. The first two times you
try to select her in the character selection screen, she will say she is too
busy and you will have to make another choice instead.

Agave (the tree) appears after completing the route of the five main heroines.
It is considered to be the True Route,

3) The character's route:
-------------------------

During this phase, you're trying to get the girl you're interested in to fall in
love with you.

For most routes, unless you're making an obvious “instant bad ending” choice,
you won't have any problem getting the girl. Your choices during the route
might affect one CG but that's all.

In Yukie's route, if you make a lot of good choices, you will get the version of
CG 70 without towels. Otherwise, you will get the version of CG 70 with towels.

In Kazuko and Miyako's routes, respectively, it's the choice just before the CG
that is crucial in determining whether you get the CG with or without towels. It
concerns CG 81 and CG 82.

The only route where your choices really matter is Momoyo's route. If you're
making a lot of bad choices during the route, you will get a bad ending at the
end of the route.

After completing Momoyo, Kazuko, Yukie or Miyako's route, you gain access to an
after story for this character in the Extra section. The extra stories are
continuations of the corresponding routes. (Chris doesn't have an after story)

III) Extras
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After completing the route of one of the main heroine, you will gain access to
the Extra menu where you will see CG mode, Replay mode, Music mode, Event mode
and After story.

1) CG mode:
-----------

There are 90 CG sets and each set can contain between 1 and 29 pictures.
You can see the number of pictures you got in each CG set and the number of
pictures that the CG set is supposed to contain. This way you can know if you
missed some pictures in a CG set.

2) Replay mode:
---------------

There are 20 scenes that you can replay in this mode.

3) Music mode:
--------------

There are 57 tracks you can play in this mode.

4) Event mode:
--------------

There are 50 events that you can replay in this mode.

5) After story:
---------------

You have access to the after stories of Momoyo, Kazuko, Yukie and Miyako after
completing their routes.
