The Mahindra Group has marked its entry into the Higher Education sector with the inauguration of a premier Engineering institution - "Mahindra Ecole Centrale" (MEC). This is in collaboration with Ecole Centrale Paris, and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. The Hon'ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Shri E.S.L. Narasimhan, unveiled the ceremonial plaque together with Vineet Nayyar, Chairman - Board, Mahindra Ecole Centrale, C. P. Gurnani, Board Member, Mahindra Ecole Centrale, on the newly-built campus at Hyderabad, within the presence of Ecole Centrale’s representatives and the Consul General of France in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh and Dr Rameshwar Rao, Vice-Chancellor, JNTU(H).
Vineet Nayyar, Executive Vice-Chairman, Tech Mahindra, mentioned, "It is a proud second for us to have launched Mahindra Ecole Centrale right now. Tech Mahindra enjoys a management place and operates in numerous trade segments.
