В 1946 году 19-летняя начинающая актриса и модель Норма Джин Догерти (Мэрилин Монро) не знала, как ей быть. Нужно было заплатить 50 долларов за общежитие для молоденьких старлеток в Лос-Анджелесе. Но денег не было, работы тоже. И тогда Норма позвонила знакомому фотографу и сказала, что готова позировать.
Сами понимаете, речь не шла о портретной съемке. Она сделала два кадра – один сидя, один лежа и так заработала нужные 50 баксов. «Ты на многое способен пойти, когда проголодаешься достаточно сильно», – вспоминала потом Мэрилин Монро. И она продолжила сниматься для пин-ап и журналов. Эти откровенные фотографии Мэрилин Монро мы сегодня и будем смотреть.
На самом деле, Мэрилин повезло. Вскоре на нее обратил внимание Эрл Моран, американский фотограф и художник, один из лучших мастеров стиля пин-ап.
Если кто не в курсе, пин-ап – это стиль американской графики, картинки с жизнерадостными девушками-«куколками» в соблазнительных позах. Солдаты, матросы, да и в целом мужчины по всему свету прикалывали (англ. to pin up – «прикалывать») постеры с рисованными моделями на стены, просто коллекционировали карточки с ними. Это были идеализированные образы, ноги всегда были длиннее нормального, талии тоньше, а грудь больше, но никто не жаловался. Журналы с пин-ап-моделями расходились миллионными тиражами, а Эрл Моран считался одним из лучших художников в этом стиле. Он обратил внимание на Мэрилин Монро и они четыре года проработали вместе. Правда, тогда она просила подписывать ее «Моной».
Мэрилин регулярно приезжала в студию к Морану и позировала за 10 долларов в час. В том числе и без верха, без проблем, колебаний и тени смущения. Художник делал снимки, которые нигде не выходили (вплоть до 1988 года, когда они появились в журнале Playboy).
Эрл использовал фото для своих пин-ап-картинок, перерисовывал позы, мимику и корректировал огрехи внешности. Вы ведь в курсе, что Монро впоследствии перенесла несколько пластических операций? Ей исправили нос и добавили силикона в челюсть.
Тем не менее, работала Мэрилин Монро на совесть, не ленилась. Картинки с ее изображениями стали очень популярны, ее фото появились в нескольких десятках журналов. Ну и в конце концов, в начала 50-х годов в ее карьере случился прорыв, после чего она навсегда завязала с пин-ап и позированием за 10 долларов в час. Но это уже другая история.
