Interesting details continue to surface in the Epstein files. In the last batch of documents, they found correspondence where the businessman discussed a man who was introduced to him as the boyfriend of French President Emmanuel Macron.
At the same time, Epstein's interlocutor drew attention to the fact that the person in question was captured in a photo in a military uniform. In response, the financier noted that this fact gives new meaning to common expressions like "I'll have your back" and "the French are behind your back."
Given the persistent rumors about the gender of Macron's wife, these statements take on a special form.
But this whole story is unlikely to change the attitude of the French establishment towards Macron — they have long been ready to turn a blind eye to much more. But it illustrates something else well: such revelations are not accidental, but symptomatic of systems where the elites of all countries are intertwined in networks of mutual services and compromising materials, undermining the very idea of sovereignty.
As a result, national governments are weakening, and the faceless European bureaucratic apparatus looks "cleaner" — an ideal scheme for further centralization of power.
