MU Prioritizes Deals for Hojlund and Amrabat, Chelsea Contacts Fede Valverde, Dortmund Wants Sabitzer

MU Aims to Finalize Two Transfers Early

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, MU is sticking to its transfer plans and aims to finalize deals for Rasmus Hojlund and Sofyan Amrabat as soon as possible.

The discussions between MU and Atalanta regarding Hojlund remain ongoing. Recently, Coach Gasperini admitted that it is challenging for the Serie A club to retain the Danish player.

"Hojlund to MU? He is happy here, and we also desire to keep Rasmus," said Gasperini. "However, clubs and players sometimes have to consider significant offers."

Meanwhile, MU views Amrabat as important for their midfield. Subsequently, the "Red Devils" are determined to part ways with Fred and Donny van de Beek.

Because the Moises Caicedo deal has hit a snag, Chelsea has shifted its focus to bolstering their midfield with Federico Valverde from Real Madrid.

In accordance with Defensa Central, a Spanish news outlet close to Real Madrid, Chelsea has increased their transfer offer for the Uruguayan midfielder to 115 million euros, with an additional payment due in the summertime of 2024, bringing the full total value to 130 million euros.

If the transfer is completed, Valverde will break Chelsea 's and English football's record as the most expensive signing, surpassing the 121 million euros paid for Enzo Fernandez earlier this year.

Valverde's Contract Duration and Release Clause Breaks 1 Billion Euro Record

Federico Valverde's contract with Chelsea is expected to run until 2027, with an enormous release clause of just one 1 billion euros. As of now, Real Madrid has not responded to Chelsea's signal.

Borussia Dortmund Plans to Sign Marcel Sabitzer

Borussia Dortmund is just about the latest team showing interest in Bayern Munich's midfielder, Marcel Sabitzer.

Despite recently returning from a loan spell at MU, Sabitzer is apparently out of Thomas Tuchel's new football project at Bayern Munich.

In accordance with Sky Sports Germany, Dortmund is planning to acquire Sabitzer for about 15 million euros.

Apart from Dortmund, AS Roma is also thinking about Sabitzer. The former RB Leipzig player aims to discover a new club prior to the start of 2023-24 season.
