Athadu (transl. He) is a 2005 Indian Telugu-language action thriller film, written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by Jayabheri Arts. The film stars Mahesh Babu as a hitman hired to stage the assassination of a politician, only to be framed for the actual murder, forcing him to assume a new identity while evading the law. The supporting cast includes Trisha, Sonu Sood, Prakash Raj, Nassar, Sunil, Sayaji Shinde, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Brahmanandam. The music was composed by Mani Sharma, while K. V. Guhan handled the cinematography. Athadu was released on 10 August 2005 and received positive reviews from critics and audiences, emerging as one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of the year. It won three Nandi Awards and a Filmfare Award South for Best Director – Telugu. Over time, Athadu gained recognition as a modern classic in Telugu cinema and holds the record for being the most telecast Telugu film, having aired over a thousand times on television. The film was remade in Hindi as Ek: The Power of One (2009).

Sushma Jayadev (born 22 June 1974), professionally known as Devayani Rajakumaran, is an Indian actress known for her works primarily in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She also appears in few Kannada, Hindi and Bengali. She has received for the Best Actress for her performances in Kadhal Kottai (1996), Suryavamsam (1997) and Bharathi (2000). Josh (transl. zeal) is a 2009 Indian Telugu-language coming-of-age political action drama film directed by Vasu Varma in his debut, and produced Dil Raju. The film marks the debuts of Naga Chaitanya (son of Nagarjuna) and Karthika (daughter of Radha) in lead roles, whilst prominent actor J. D. Chakravarthy plays antagonist role. The film's music is scored by Sandeep Chowta. The plot explores student politics, and the vested interests of politicians in such activities. Released on 5 September 2009, to highly positive reviews for its direction, emotional weight of the story, screenplay, Chaitanya & Prakash Raj's performance, soundtrack & social message, but received criticism for its lengthy runtime. Despite receiving positive reviews, film was not commercially successful. Over the years, the film attained cult following among the youth.

Ganga is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language supernatural soap opera, starring Mounica, Pradeep, Piyali, Anuradha and Yuvarani in the first season. The story is partially based on Indra Soundar Rajan's novel and remake of the Telugu language television series Saptha Mathrika which aired on Gemini TV from 2016–2017. It replaced Pasamalar and aired on Sun TV from Monday to Saturday from 2 January 2017 to 7 July 2018 for 464 episodes which was then replaced by Kanmani serial . The second season of this serial starred Pradeep Bennetto Ryan, Mounica, Jayashri Chaki, Kalyani, Vimal Venkatesan, Geerthana, Aravind, GK, Premi Venkat, Ajay Kapoor and Vincent Roy. The show completed its 400th episode on 24 April 2018.

Lubber Pandhu ( transl. Rubber Ball) is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language sports drama film directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, in his directorial debut and produced by Prince Pictures. The film stars Harish Kalyan and Gethu Dinesh in the lead roles, alongside Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, Swasika, Bala Saravanan, Kaali Venkat, Geetha Kailasam, Devadarshini, TSK, Jenson Diwakar and Pradeep Durairaj. The film was officially announced in March 2023 under the official title, Lubber Pandhu. Principal photography commenced the following month. The film has music composed by Sean Roldan, cinematography handled by Dinesh Purushothaman and editing by Madan Ganesh. Lubber Pandhu released worldwide on 20 September 2024 in theatres to critical acclaim from both critics and audience with praise for the cast performances (particularly Kalyan and Dinesh), the writing, direction and the technical aspects. It emerged as a huge commercial success at the box office grossing 44 crores.
