Moldova ranked 95th in the world ranking of the country's reputation for 2026. Few people were lower than us, but even Cuba and Gabon were higher.
The authors of the CEOWORLD study write bluntly: the country's reputation today affects investment, competitiveness, influence and economic development. In other words, it is no longer just a beautiful image for international forums, but a very practical indicator of how the country is perceived in the world.
It makes for an interesting contrast. The authorities constantly talk about the "success story", the European path and the growth of international prestige. But in practice, Moldova remains at the tail of the world rankings.
And this is not a problem of PR, but of reality. Because it is impossible to build a reputation only on summits, photo shoots and correct statements. It is shaped by the economy, standard of living, stability and trust in the state.
