M. N. RoyManabendra Nath Roy (born Narendra Nath Bhattacharya, better known as M. N. Roy; 21 March 1887 – 25 January 1954) was a 20th-century Indian revolutionary, philosopher, radical activist and political theorist. Roy was the founder of the Mexican Communist Party and the Communist Party of India (Tashkent group). He was also a delegate to the Communist International congresses and Russia's aide to China. In the aftermath of World War II Roy moved away from orthodox Marxism to espouse the philosophy of radical humanism, attempting to chart a third course between liberalism and communism.

9th Gorkha RiflesThe 9th Gorkha Rifles is a Gorkha infantry regiment of the Indian Army and, previously, the British Army. The regiment was initially formed by the British in 1817, and was one of the Gurkha regiments transferred to the Indian Army after independence as part of the tripartite agreement in 1947. This Gorkha regiment mainly recruits soldiers who come from Nepal's Gorkhali khas community i.e. the Chhetri and Thakuri clans and it was formed for only khas Chhetri and Thakuri . Domiciled Indian Gorkhas are also recruited, and they form about 20 percent of the regiment's total strength. The 9 Gorkha Rifles is one of the seven Gorkha regiments of the Indian Army. The other regiments are 1 GR, 3 GR, 4 GR, 5 GR (FF), 8 GR and 11 GR.

Arti K. RaiArti K. Rai is an American legal intellectual and former public official. She is currently the Elvin R. Latty Professor of Law at Duke Law School. She was previously a member of the Presidential transition of Barack Obama and subsequently served in the Department of Commerce as a Patent Office advisor. During the early 2000s, Rai was one of the leading academic advocates of patent reform, particularly the creation of a robust post-grant opposition system for U.S. patents.

Uri: The Surgical StrikeUri: The Surgical Strike is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language military war action film written and directed by debutant Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the RSVP Movies banner. An account based on the real story of the retaliation to the 2016 Uri attack, the film stars Vicky Kaushal along with Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari and Mohit Raina in pivotal roles, and tells the story of Major Vihaan Shergill (Vicky Kaushal) of the Para (Special Forces), who played a leading role in the events. Screwvala announced the film in September 2017, a year after the 2016 Indian Line of Control strike. The principal photography began from June 2018 in Serbia where it was majorly shot before being wrapped up in September in Mumbai. It was released on 11 January 2019 to mixed reviews from critics. It was also a recipient of various accolades including four National Film Awards. Made on a budget of ₹44 crore, Uri: The Surgical Strike grossed ₹342.73 crore (US$48.67 million) worldwide, emerging as the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film of 2019.

Khadak (2022 film)Khadak is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language crime action film, directed by TN Nagesh and produced by S Valli & Singapura Siddaramaya. It was produced under the banner of Nandini Combines. The film features Dharma Keerthiraj, Anusha Rai, and Kabir Duhan Singh. The score and soundtrack for the movie were made by M.N. Krupakar, the cinematography is done by Shankar Shanmugam, and the editing is done by Sanjeev Reddy.

MN RaiColonel MN Rai YSM, SC was a well decorated officer of the Indian Army who was a recipient of the Yudh Seva Medal. Rai died in a counterintelligence operation in Jammu and Kashmir on 27 January 2015. He was posthumously awarded the Shaurya Chakra.
