1_Configuring automatic language change when entering a field / 2_Database cloning / 3_Using variables AND Insert File + Insert Picture + Insert PDF ( 3 actions in 1 button)

1. Setting the automatic language change when entering the field:
Inspector / Data / Set input method choose from the list "Synchronize with fields language". You must set the default language in the field options on the Storage.

2. Cloning a database is saving tables, layouts, scripts, defining fields without records. Runs on errors or when you need to copy an empty database: File / Save as copy / select menu in the Save

3. Use variables to speed up running scripts. Define the values of the variables at the beginning of the script so that it's easier to find and understand what they mean.

In your solution you give users an ability to store file in container fields. 

You know that there is an option in FileMaker, which allows to show content of any stored image or PDF file/

But users can preview images and PDFs merely in case if they use command Insert Picture or Insert PDF (resp.). In other cases they will see just an icon of file. 

What if we'll make ONE button which lets correctly upload any type of file instead of tree different buttons?

What if we'll make an ability to transform previously loaded files in container fields in new state allowing to preview their contents?

It is easy in latest versions of FileMaker where functions Base64Encode and Base64Decode supported.
