I will never choose the hotel again. MGM has amazing facilities - particularly love the lazy river! A friend recommended this Hotel and we really enjoyed it! You took Staff was actually really nice and helpful. First room and a very loud AC unit. After moving to a different room, the window shade was broken so could not roll it up. Feels dated but has a lot of things to do here like the pool and top golf. There are better places for about the same or a little more. We loved the hotel and the room. But the pool was a disappointment, it was full of floaties hair, rubbish and other things floating around we did not put our head under and were disappointed they were not cleaning the pool and it was in this state. Other than that the hotel was great and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. We felt welcomed, and safe with the exceptional work of the staff. The hotel is ok, our blanked was dirty in one spot but the rest of the room was clean. It is comfortable and simple for the price. It is noisy depending on the neighbors. Airplanes also make a lot of noise. If you have a late flight, they have a spot where you can leave your luggage. The best casinos to tourists are 30 minutes walking and the airport is 10 minutes driving. I have had better rooms for a lot less money than at the mgm grand. The carpets was dirty and worn. I did not like the bathroom the way it was laid out. Very little storage. Was a good deal but no view but a building oit the window in the West Wing with a major walk to the room. It has been long time since last stay at MGM. Room is out of date wall between rooms are so thin you can hear voices from next door and hallway. Bathroom mirror corner is peeling. It really needed to remodel! Dated rooms that could do with a renovation but otherwise spacious and clean and sound proof! Great location for the strip and value for money. The casino is huge, the rooms are huge too, a good option when staying on the strip. MGM worked out fine for this trip. Both of our rooms were in the west tower. I am not sure if all rooms in MGM are like this but it was by far the smallest room I have ever seen in Vegas. Since I was staying by myself, it was fine but with two people in that room, it would have been cramped. The bathroom was an open concept immediately when you walk in the room. This was quite weird to me. The other problem is that if you need to use the washroom at night and need to turn the light on, there is no way to do this only in the bathroom area so you would definitely wake someone else up. But since I paid so little for a busy few days in Vegas, I would do it again if I found myself there on my own again. Our stay was wonderful. The check in counter staff, Ms Dess, was very approachable and guided us perfectly, she was very attentive and answered our queries wonderfully. No express check in, We where stuck in the west wing and only elevators at ends which meant A lot of walking just to get to our room. Not enough towels in our room. First time in Vegas but really loved this hotel I think the MGM group is a great range of hotels to be in but this one is my favourite one so far. Your stores and bars are ridiculously over priced. The room in the west wing was dated and not nice for the money. Made sense why it was cheap. It was in a small corridor and the room had no windows. Would not opt for this next time. I payed for king room with strip view as advertised but my room was no way in the strip. Would not come back. Would not recommend. Facilities seems old. Less in-room offers like no bath robes, no slippers, air-con takes time to cool the room, no fridge available. I forgot her name!!! Great hotel has everything you need. Easy to get around either walking, on the monorail or the Uber set up is very well organised. Great hotel definitely recommend. Really rude and cold check in staff with zero understanding of customer care. Misled by agoda website , about a room category in west wing , this room is a dungeon with no separate bath. Upgraded room had dripping water leak from AC unit. No concept of non smoking in casino which any way one has to cross through in n out of hotel. Upon telephonic complaint , the telephone operator suggested that i cpuld check out n go to another hotel. Check in took 45 mins I would not suggest any one to stay here even from location point of view. Horrible food joints. Everything at the hotel was a bit old and in need of some TLC. The room needed redecorating and the pool furniture replacing. It would be if more benefit to guests to have an empty fridge in the room. Lazy river closed, no seating in the massive lobby, and no coffee makers in room. Staff were friendly. There are nicer hotels for similar rates nearby. The hotel feels a bit outdated. It was clean, but still felt dirty. We had booked a twin queen room but when we arrived they put us in a king room. As two single people this was not what we wanted. The front desk woman was unhelpful and inflexible. Started out experience off with a bad taste which did not recover. The staffs were friendly. The room was very spacious. Finally figured out its now all about money not customer satisfaction. I always stay at mgm grand and as a platinum member I have learned they have now fallen below an acceptable value for me. I have been to mgm grand 9 times this year. I have spent thousands of dollars. Everything very good, but the rooms could be cleaner. I chose this hotel as I was attending a concert there. I arrived the evening before the concert, and left the morning after. I was not there to use the resort facilities. I left early for the airport and did not notice the Veuve error until later. And mini-bar charges were not prominently posted in the room. So pretty annoyed about the whole thing. Worst experience I have ever had in Vegas! Stayed in a king tower room with strip view on the 27th floor. The straw that broke the camels back was when we returned to our room to get ready to go out and found there was no water at all! We were told that this was due to maintenance and that it would be back on soon. It was at this point that my patience finally broke! I spoke with an attendant at the front desk who said that she would get maintenance to take a look. Water is in short supply in Vegas as it is and they want us to waste it for half an hour!! Never again would we stay here. The hotel is nice, clean and functional but we are not impressed with Agoda. The website did not inform us about the additional resort fee.
