MG ZS Hybrid: A compelling blend of affordability, efficiency, and style

Panorica

MG Motor UK has unveiled the all-new MG ZS Hybrid, an exciting addition to the brand's growing lineup of electrified vehicles. This compact SUV promises an enticing combination of practicality, performance, and fiscal responsibility, making it a strong contender in the increasingly competitive hybrid market.

Striking a balance between power and efficiency

The MG ZS Hybrid boasts a 1.5-liter petrol engine seamlessly integrated with a 136PS/250Nm electric motor, generating a combined output of 196 horsepower. This potent powertrain delivers a 0-to-62mph sprint time of just 8.7 seconds, ensuring a responsive and engaging driving experience.

At the heart of the ZS Hybrid's efficiency lies a 1.83kWh high-voltage battery that seamlessly recharges using a 45kW generator. This innovative system eliminates the need for external charging, making it a convenient choice for drivers who prioritize ease of use.

Impressive fuel economy and eco-credentials

One of the most compelling aspects of the MG ZS Hybrid is its remarkable fuel economy. The car achieves a WLTP combined figure of 55.4mpg, translating to significant cost savings at the pump and reduced environmental impact. Additionally, the ZS Hybrid produces a low CO2 emission rating of 115g/km, solidifying its position as an environmentally responsible choice.

Safety and technology at the forefront

MG has prioritized safety in the ZS Hybrid, equipping it with a comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). These features include adaptive cruise control, active emergency braking with pedestrian and bicycle detection, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot detection, forward collision warning, and traffic jam assist. This extensive list of technologies empowers drivers with confidence and peace of mind on the road.

Modern and feature-rich interior

The MG ZS Hybrid's cabin offers a comfortable and contemporary environment for occupants. A driver-centric layout featuring a 12.3-inch HD infotainment display with navigation and live services takes center stage. A crisp 7-inch virtual driver display relays essential vehicle information, enhancing the driving experience.

For added convenience, the ZS Hybrid comes equipped with rear parking sensors with a camera, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and keyless entry. These thoughtful features contribute to a refined and user-friendly in-car experience.

A compelling value proposition

With a starting price of £21,995 (approximately $26,232), the MG ZS Hybrid presents an exceptional value proposition. It delivers a compelling blend of practicality, efficiency, technology, and safety at a competitive price point. This combination is likely to resonate with budget-minded drivers seeking an entry point into the world of electrified vehicles.

MG ZS Hybrid: A promising contender in the hybrid SUV segment

The MG ZS Hybrid arrives at a time when the demand for efficient and affordable hybrid SUVs is on the rise. With its well-rounded package of performance, fuel economy, technology, and safety, the ZS Hybrid is poised to carve a niche for itself in this competitive segment. Backed by MG's growing reputation for reliability and value, the ZS Hybrid is a compelling option for eco-conscious drivers seeking a practical and stylish SUV. @via www.mg.co.uk and @via Pink Bookmarks.
