The single also peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard R&B Singles chart. It sold more than one million copies in the US. In the United Kingdom, the song reached No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart in September 1970. The first Chairmen of the Board LP, a self-titled release, included the single; after the single's success, the Chairmen of the Board album was reissued as Give Me Just a Little More Time.

Guest stars in "Marry Me a Little, Marry Me a Little More" include Harry Connick Jr., Katie Couric, Judith Ivey, and Debbie Reynolds. The episode focuses on Grace (played by Debra Messing) impulsively accepting a marriage proposal from her boyfriend Leo (Harry Connick, Jr.) despite that the two have only known each other for a short time. They get married and tell their friends about the news, despite Grace's best friend Will's (Eric McCormack) unease about the whole idea. Grace and Leo decide to host a wedding reception for themselves, but at the festivity, Grace learns unsettling details about Leo, which gives her reason to wonder if she has made a mistake. The series stars Casey Wilson and Ken Marino and aired Tuesday nights at 9 pm (ET/PT)/8 pm (CT) as part the 2014–15 television season. Marry Me was created and executive produced by David Caspe with co-executive producers/director Seth Gordon and Jamie Tarses for Sony Pictures Television. Series creator David Caspe loosely based the premise on his recent marriage to actress Casey Wilson, who stars as Annie. Like Caspe's previous sitcom Happy Endings, this series is set in Chicago. On November 5, 2014, the series order was upped to 18 episodes for its first season. On February 17, 2015, the show aired its final episode before being removed from the schedule to allow The Voice to air two-hour episodes for three weeks, before Undateable took over the timeslot for the remainder of the season - leaving four episodes of Marry Me unaired. These episodes later began premiering in the UK from April 23, 2015 to May 14, 2015. On May 8, 2015, NBC cancelled the series after one season. The show was eventually released on a complete series DVD on February 16, 2017.

Marry Me (2022 film)Marry Me is a 2022 American romantic comedy drama film directed by Kat Coiro, with a screenplay by John Rogers, Tami Sagher, and Harper Dill. Based on the 2012 graphic novel of the same title by Bobby Crosby, it stars Jennifer Lopez as superstar Kat Valdez who decides to marry Charlie Gilbert (Owen Wilson), a math teacher holding a "Marry Me" sign, after learning that her on-stage bridegroom, Bastian (Maluma), has been having an affair. The film was announced in April 2019, with Lopez and Wilson set to star and Coiro joining the project as director. Universal Pictures acquired the film distribution rights in July 2019. Principal photography took place in Manhattan in October and November 2019. A soundtrack album of the same name by Lopez and Maluma was also produced. The lead single, titled "Pa' Ti", was released on September 24, 2020, and debuted at number nine on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs, marking Lopez's highest chart debut in the United States since 2017. Marry Me premiered in Los Angeles on February 9, 2022, and was released in the United States theatrically and simultaneously available on Peacock Premium on February 11. It was delayed twice from an original February 2021 release date due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film received mixed reviews from critics, grossing $56.5 million against a budget of $23 million. On streaming, Marry Me became the most-streamed day-and-date title on Peacock.
