Almost a year ago, I brought together people interested in keeping MAPS.ME free even after its acquisition by a financial company to this Telegram channel. This post helped bring together the people who brought back the MAPS.ME you love, as free software, without any ads or trackers.

Even though they reverted the awful changes they brought on almost a year ago, they still are trying to make as much money from it as possible, with ads, the wallet integration and by using trackers in the app that sell your personal data. There are zero downsides to Organic Maps.
