ITINERARY 16 Days 

06th April to 22nd April

MANASLU CURCUIT is less crowded and alternative trekking of more crowded Annapurna Circuit. It is located in the western part of Nepal, near Annapurna region and close to the Tibet border. We will see both Hindu and Buddhist culture, wildlife, rhododendron forest, and mountain scenery. The trek offers the views of Manaslu (8,163m), Himal Chuli (7,890) Ngadi Chuli (7,870) Baudha Himal (6,670m) Annapurna II (7,837) and other peaks. We won’t see Everest or Ama Dablam - it is a different region of Nepal. - but more beautiful as I was told. The highest point will be 5,106 meters Larke La Pass.

Departure from the UK 

07/04 Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu Airport (1,400 m). Overnight at a hotel.

08/04 Day 2

Kathmandu: On this day, the guide will go to immigration to obtain the restricted area permit, and we can prepare for the trekking.

We will also do some Kathmandu sightseeing, including visits to Boudhanath and Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)

09/04 Day 3

Drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola (710 m) by private Jeep – Approx. 8 to 9hrs drive

10/04 Day 4

Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat (1,340 m) – Approx. 5 to 6 hrs walk

11/04 Day 5

Trek from Jagat to Deng (1,860 m) –Approx. 6 to 7 hrs walk

12/04 Day 6

Trek from Deng to Namrung (2,630 m) –Approx. 7 to 8 hrs

13/04 Day 7

Trek from Namrung to Samagaon (3,530 m) –Approx. 6 to 7 hrs walk.

14/04 Day 8

Acclimatization day at Samagaon (3,530m).

15/04 Day 9

Trek from Samagaon to Samdo (3,860 m) –Approx. 5 hrs walk

16/04 Day 10

Trek from Samdo to Dharmas (4,460 m) – Approx. 4 hrs walk

17/04 Day 11

Trek from Dharamsala to Bimthang(3590m) via Larkya La Pass (5,160 m) –Approx. 7 to 8 hrs walk

18/04 Day 12

Trek from Bimthang to Tilje (2,300 m) – Approx. 6 to 7 hrs walk

19/04 Day 13

Trek from Tilje to Dharapani (1963m) - Approx 2 hours walk. Drive from Dharapani to Beshisahar (760m) - Approx 4 hours off road drive

20/04 Day 14

Drive from Besisahar to Kathmandu–Approx 5 to 6 hours’ drive

21/04 Day 15

Rest and shopping day in Kathmandu.

22/04 Day 16

It's our last day in Kathmandu. Today, our airport team will help us with check-out and airport departure. Please note that you have to be at the airport 3 hours before your flight time.

Airport pick-up and drop-off for your international flights (x2: arrival & departure).

Permits:

Transportation:

• Kathmandu to Machha Khola (trek starting point) by private Jeep

• Dharapani (trek ending point) to Besisahar by Jeep

• Besisahar to Kathmandu by HiAce vehicle

Trekking Crew:

• For 6 participants: One English-speaking trekking guide, two Sherpas, and three porters

• Inclusion of accommodation, salary, transportation, and meals for all staff throughout the trek

Accommodation & Meals:

• 11 nights in tea house lodges during the trek with three meals per day, plus complimentary coffee and tea

• 4 nights in a three-star hotel (Woodapple Hotel or similar) in Kathmandu on a bed and breakfast plan, twin sharing basis

• Trekking lodges are usually twin-sharing rooms, occasionally dormitory style

Staff Insurance:

Covered during the trek.

Sightseeing:

Guided tours of Boudhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) with a 

tourist-standard vehicle and entrance fees included

NOT INCLUDED

1. International airfare and airport taxes (around £600 - £800)

2. Nepal visa fee (approx £40)

3. Meals in Kathmandu (lunch and dinner)

4. Travel/medical insurance and emergency evacuation or rescue costs (it depends on provider)

5. Personal expenses such as laundry, phone calls, alcoholic beverages, bottled drinks, hot water, and showers

6. Tips for the guide and staff (around $180 -$200)

7. Additional costs for extra days’ stay due to flight cancellations caused by natural calamities, bad weather, or other unforeseen circumstances

8. Personal trekking gear for the trip

Notes 

Any extra accommodation and meals in Kathmandu if early return from the trek due to guest interest and other unforeseen circumstances has to be pay by guest except the stay included in given trip itinerary; in this case amount will not be refunded.
