Hyde, born Nicholas Dembrook in San Gimignano, Italy on January 11th, was secretly injected with the illegal drug Compound V as an infant by his parents, granting him superhuman abilities. Though he has few memories of his early childhood in Italy before moving to Los Angeles, California with his family, he remains haunted by nightmares from those formative years. To distance himself from his painful past, he changed his name to Hyde. Before signing with Starlight International, Hyde lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, working as an amateur fighter and running his own underground fight club and gym, The Cage. Now living in Los Angeles as an adult, Hyde works as a stuntman and amateur fighter, leveraging his superhuman strength and rapid healing abilities. Though passionate about science and nature, memories from childhood still torment him, and a lingering scent of lilac and smoke follows him wherever he goes.

On Valentine's Day, Hyde entered a burlesque lounge, unaware his life was about to change forever. As a dancer took the stage, her graceful movements, sultry expressions, and alluring aura captivated him. Transfixed, he knew in that moment she was the one. As the night progressed, the connection between Hyde and the dancer, later known as Blondie, intensified, as if drawn together by fate. Blondie was the missing piece of his soul he had long sought. Their whirlwind romance soon led to marriage and the birth of their daughter Miette. Becoming a father transformed Hyde's life. Leaving behind his former dangerous ways, he accepted an offer from Starlight International, a company he had avoided for most of his life.
