M&A Advisor (Remote, US M&A Firm)
Digital nomads. Work from anywhereCompany: AMB Advisory Services
AMB Advisory Services is building an AI-powered M&A advisory firm for Main Street deals. We help owners of small and mid-sized businesses sell their companies, and we help buyers acquire them. AI handles the heavy lifting on financials, materials, and buyer outreach, so our team spends its time on reviewing materials and advising clients. We’re hiring the first members of a small, incredibly talented advisory team who will run our deals and help our engineering team develop a best-in-class tech stack.
What you’ll do: prepare teasers, CIMs, financial analysis, and buyer materials with our templates and AI tools, working alongside a senior advisor who reviews and signs off; turn clients’ raw financials (P&Ls, tax returns, bank statements) into clean, normalized analysis, including SDE and EBITDA adjustments, and flag what’s missing; run information calls with sellers in English; keep data requests, trackers, and deal timelines current; use our AI tools every day, find where they fall short, and work with our engineering team to make them better; help train interns on our tools and templates as the team grows.
What we’re looking for: 2–3 years of experience in M&A transaction services, investment banking, corporate finance, or audit, ideally at a Big 4 or similar firm; strong accounting fundamentals and comfort reading a small business’s financial statements and KPI data; strong Excel skills; excellent spoken and written English, comfortable on calls with US business owners; you’re organized and detail-oriented, and you enjoy building better ways to work; you already use AI tools in your work and want to improve how deals get done.
What we offer: a base of USD $30,000–$40,000 depending on experience, plus a bonus on every deal that closes. The bonus rate increases as the team handles more deals at once, so your pay grows with the volume we run. At full deal volume, total compensation can exceed $90,000 a year. Fully remote with hours that overlap New York; direct work with a senior advisor and the partners on real US deals, and a clear path to a senior advisor role as we scale our team.
How to apply: send your resume and answer four short questions in English. Shortlisted candidates complete a paid work sample: cleaning up and analyzing data from a real, anonymized deal.
