Lydia Hearst isn't shy about taking her clothes off.
The publishing heiress is showing off her naked bod in the new issue of Treats magazine .
The circus-theme spread not only features Hearst topless, but she actually goes full frontal for some of the pics.
In one photo, Hearst poses as if she's being shot out of a canon. In another, she lays across a carousel horse. One of the more provocative stills shows Hearst lying naked (except for a pair of shoes and striped knee-high socks) in the lap of a large clown sculpture.
"I honestly think it's ridiculous that women aren't allowed to show nipples," Hearst says in the magazine. "They're not vulgar. Men have nipples too! I don't see why it's considered more acceptable to show a man's than a woman's. It's shocking that in this day and age there's still a double standard."
Hearst, who dates Nerdist guru Chris Hardwick , not only models (her agency is DT Model Management), but she has also jumped into the acting pool. She has three indie films in the can, including Condemned , a horror film costarring Dylan Penn .
Hearst plays a drug addict who becomes a crazed killer after she is infected with a mysterious disease.
"A complete junkie," she said. "Every day I'd get nicotine stains painted on my teeth and track marks. I was just completely hollowed out and grotesque and it was so beautiful and amazing."
She counts Cameron Diaz , Halle Berry and Milla Jovovich among her role models.
"They all sort of came from a background of fashion and successfully transitioned into being full-time actresses yet they haven't entirely left the fashion industry behind," Hearst explained. "They're still doing the editorials and campaigns and endorsements and you still occasionally see them on the runway shows. So I'm not planning to leave fashion behind. Acting is my passion but it's so much fun to be creative and breathe life into a moment whether it's a still photograph or the characters that you're playing on film."

As the heir to the fortunes of one of America's richest families, she grew up thinking it was normal to have Ricki Lake babysit and Johnny Depp round for tea.
But perhaps all Lydia Hearst wanted to do when she grew up was run away to the circus, as in a new shoot for Treats! Magazine, the 30-year-old model seems more than comfortable when it comes to hanging about the fairground.
The fashion model decided to go completely nude for the shoot - with her naked body being the main attraction - as she pretended to perform the human cannonball act.

The stunning actress and DT Model Management model confidently showed why boyfriend Chris Hardwick,43, is a lucky man as she provocatively posed in the circus-themed shoot, published today.
The Hearst family are the sixth richest in America, with a net worth of $35 billion and a media empire.
Lydia's mom, Patty Hearst, gained notoriety in 1974 when she was kidnapped by the radical group the Symbionese Liberation Army.
She was seen holding a machine gun while robbing a California bank and spent almost two years in prison.

During her trial, her lawyers argued that she had been brainwashed by the kidnappers, which led to her being regarded as a victim of Stockholm Syndrome.
