Is there anything better than feeling comfortable and being able to relax during vacations? I don’t think so. For me it’s really important to feel like home when I'm somewhere else and far away from Hamburg.
This week I was residing at The Lyall Hotel & Spa Melbourne In neuem Fenster öffnen and had a little bit of this "being home" feeling during my stay there. I've had three very relaxing nights in a cozy kingsize bed, and I really enjoyed the nice service and my 60 minutes spa treatment (more about it in a following post).
You can find the hotel and its spa ( more here In neuem Fenster öffnen ) in the district called South Yarra near the Yarra River. It's the perfect place to go shopping and check out cute cafés and restaurants. It feels a little bit like a small London.
Soon there will be extensive posts about my spa treatment and the district. So, now you can enjoy the pictures I took during my time in this very nice and pivately owned hotel.
Good to know: There is an exclusive 10 % discount for guests of The Lyall for some selected shops.
You can find The Lyall Hotel & Spa Melbourne in 16th Murphy Street, you get there when you take the train to the station South Yarra.
I really liked the contemporary oriental design.
You can relax in the nice lobby. Here you can also enjoy your breakfast in an intimate atmosphere. My cozy and comfortable living and sleeping room for three nights. 40 spacious suites are welcoming their guests. You also have a small kitchen in the room.

Gibt es im Urlaub etwas schöneres als komplett runterzufahren? Kaum! Neben dem Urlaubsziel ist die Unterkunft dabei ein wichtiger Faktor, um sich komplett wohlzufühlen und zu entspannen.
Ich konnte mich diese Woche so richtig gut im The Lyall Hotel & Spa Melbourne In neuem Fenster öffnen entspannen, in dem ich drei Nächte verbracht habe. Nach einer Woche auf einer Couch habe ich mich sehr gerne für einige Tage in einem Kingsize-Bett ausgestreckt und den überdurchnschittlich freundlichen Service des Lyalls in Melbourne genossen.
Für mich ist es immer enorm wichtig, dass ich mich willkommen fühle und eben auch der Service zeigt: Wir haben dich gerne als unseren Gast hier. Und diesbezüglich hat das Lyall meine Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und jederzeit zu einem netten Plausch bereit, wodurch ich mein Englisch auch etwas aufpolieren konnte.
Ihr findet das Hotel und das sehens- und besuchenswerte Spa ( zum Angebot In neuem Fenster öffnen ), das ihr auch nutzen könnt, wenn ihr kein Gast seid, im schönen Stadtteil South Yarra. Dort könnt ihr übrigens total gut shoppen gehen – hier erinnert mich alles ein wenig an London. Ich plane noch ausführliche Posts zum Spabesuch und dem Stadtteil South Yarra.
The Lyall Hotel & Spa Melbourne findet ihr übrigens in der 16th Murphy Street, erreichbar mit der Bahn bis zur Haltestelle South Yarra.
Besonders ins Auge fallen die orientalisch anmutenden Einflüsse.
In der Lobby kann man bei intimer und gemütlicher Atmosphäre entspannen und das frühstück genießen. Mein gemütliches Wohn- und Schlafzimmer für drei Nächte. Insgesamt umfasst das Hotel 40 Suiten, die sehr geräumig sind und sogar eine kleine Küche besitzen.

Schade, dass das Hotel THE LYALL in Australien beheimatet ist.....im Moment zu weit weg 🙁 Sicherlich einen Aufenthalt wert!

A mother of identical twin daughters who encouraged her children to become glamour models has revealed how she is jealous of their careers on an adult TV station.
Mruga, 55, who lives in London with identical twins Tasha and Tanya, both 27, is determined for the girls to make the most of the opportunities she would have killed for as a young woman.
'I was very envious that they had this opportunity to do something and be someone,' she told Channel 5's My Mum's Hotter Than Me. 'I wish I had the opportunity when I was young to do glamour modelling. I would have so done it.'
Mruga believes she would have certainly been a success, claiming she's the 'hottest' one in her family, who she describes as 'the Kardashians of the UK'.

Their mother Mruga, 55, wants her girls to flaunt their assets and encourages them to follow their dreams
The girls work from home doing photoshoots and video blogs in their underwear for their fans and are confident in their bodies
'We’re all a very attention-seeking family. We’re hot, we’re all super hot,' she said.
The trio appear in the programme which follows family elders who believe they are more attractive than the youngsters.
Despite Mruga's confidence in her own appeal, she realises her daughter's youthful looks are likely to be more in demand.
'When the twins told me they wanted to be glamour models, I thought "why not?". I encouraged them, I was proud of them,' she said.
'It’s about loving yourself. You’ve got one life, one chance to look the best you can. They’re beautiful, they’re twins. If you’ve got it flaunt it.'
Tanya and Tasha see their mum as an inspiration and admit they wanted to follow in her footsteps after she had breast implants when they were younger.
'I knew from when I was younger I wanted a boob job because of you,' one of the twins said. 'And then they were big all of a sudden.'
In a desperate bid to keep up with their mother's good looks, the girls have had nose jobs in addition to breast enlargements, and both also have regular Botox injections.
They work together every day out of their home taking part in revealing photoshoots, as well as running a raunchy website for their fans, which has earned them thousands of pounds.

One of their first modelling shoots was carefully monitored by their mother who made sure there were no 'open leg shots or nudity'.
But it seems they have moved on considerably and now the girls go by Preeti and Priya Young as their work names, which they say their mother came up with.
Their Twitter and Instagram accounts are full of X-rated, full frontal nude snaps and advertisements for their followers to chat with them on camera, and watch them on the adult TV channel Babestation.

The sisters state their mother as a body inspiration and were keen to follow in her footsteps by getting boob jobs
Mruga is openly happy for her girls to carry on with their careers.
'I’m very proud. They are very hot. Of course they are, otherwise they wouldn’t be where they are,' she said.
'It doesn’t bother me seeing them like that, looking all nice and sexy. I think they look amazing. I think the boob jobs are nice. I think "why not?". Is a boob job not the norm now?'
They both present on the adult TV channel Babestation which fans have to call into to chat with the girls
The sisters have splashed out on designer shoes, luxury cars and bought a house with their earnings and Mruga is more than happy to see them live out their dreams, not to mention her own.
'If Babestation was around when I was younger I would have done it and been shaking my ass on the phone saying “call me”,' she admitted.
'They’re my daughters that’s why they have done so well. They are unique they bring a new vibe to the industry.
'I want them to be happy and I want them to do well. I want them to be proud of what they have achieved. I just want happiness for my children, end of story.'

“I always slept in the same bed with Peggy and Joe, in the middle,” Ashley, now 30 years old, recalls of her frequent childhood sleepovers with her grandmother and step-grandfather. “I would feel Joe take my underwear off. He would start rubbing my leg. He told me, ‘It’s OK. This is how grandpas check little girls.’ So I didn’t fight it.” Ashley says Joe raped and molested her over 500 times throughout a decade and was eventually convicted of 151 counts of sexual misconduct and sentenced to more than 250 years in prison. “My grandmother knew it was happening the whole time. She let my grandpa rape me,” she says of the woman she considered her best friend. “I am mad at Peggy. She knew and threw me to the wind like I was nothing to her.”
Peggy says Ashley is a liar and adamantly denies that her husband hurt her. “I didn’t see any sexual thing between Joe and Ashley. If there was, Joe wouldn’t be alive today. I’d have probably already killed him,” she says. “I really loved my granddaughter, but all I got was a stab in the heart. She ruined my life.”
Ashley and Peggy, who haven’t seen each other in more than seven years, face off on Dr. Phil’s stage. “[Ashley] waits until she’s 22 years old to holler rape,” Peggy says in the video above.
“You never had any idea in your mind that he might have done this?” Dr. Phil asks Peggy.
“No,” she says. “There was one time, and that was at the motel, but his hand was over her leg.”
Dr. Phil questions Peggy further. “You wake up in the middle of the night, your husband is on his knees at the bed of a child with his hand on her leg, and that doesn’t go ding, ding, ding ding with you?” he asks.
