With nearly 15,000 people in 2014, MomoCon is one of the fastest growing all ages conventions in the country. Fans of Japanese Anime, American Animation, Comics and Video Games come together to celebrate their passion by costuming, browsing the huge exhibitors hall, meeting celebrity voice talent, designers, and writers behind their favorite shows and games, and much much more over this 4 day event.
I used to work with Delanie. She's... well, kind of crazy. Not to say that harassment didn't happen, but take everything she says with a huge grain of salt. She is very manipulative, and has no problem saying or doing crazy things to get what she wants from people. I really hope she's not making up or embellishing this incident, but I'm very skeptical of the amount of truth to her side of any story.
From what I've heard, her story here is pretty accurate, with emotional embellishment, but still not lying. Momocon needs to drop this whole family friendly act. Not only do they not do it well or fairly, but it's limiting the con's potential for growth and attracting adults without children.
I will say that this year was one of the best I've been to since they moved from ferst dr., thanks in no small part to the larger space. The only changes that need to be enacted are policies, especially with the staff.
Regardless if she was sexually harassed or not, blame the harassers not momocon. That's sorta like blaming the NFL for the dogs Michael Vick killed.
This is real life. People have their own prerogatives. Laws are set in place to try and convince people from doing certain things that the majority of us would not like ofcourse. But people are people, this is the real world, and shit happens. Take action when the laws on your side and hopefully you have a case that can be looked into and justified.
If you reeaalllyy don't wanna risk getting harassed, don't go to a place full of people, especially when you're going to a place where it's common for people in outfits or the public eye to be touched and taken pictures with.

Now if you will all excuse me, I am going to go blame Atlanta because there were some people there who jay walked infront of me while I was driving.
I think the issue is not blaming the nfl for michael vick's dog fighting but the NFL not punishing him for doing so (regardless of whether or not that happened, im sticking with your metaphor). No, it's not momocon's fault harassment happened. What is their fault is how they allegedly handled it.
