Newsflash: Real Housewife Luann de Lesseps , 55, posted the craziest photo on Instagram , but her abs look crazy-amazing.
Luann shared a snap from vacation (in an unknown but very sunny locale), with her body completely covered in gold clay and no bikini top. Be warned: it looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. She captioned the pic "claycation," which is...one way to put it.
Luann may be covered head to toe in golden clay, but her abs are shining right through. Nothing, I mean nothing, will overshadow her oh-so-toned abs, legs, arms, and everything.
She works hard for her strong muscles, even on her claycation. Yoga is a huge part of her fitness and wellness routine, and she mixes weights and yoga to create a resistance-training workout, she told Life & Style . "I do weights for the arms because I have to wear these dresses that are sleeveless, and then the legs and then the tummy so I have my routine that I do," she said. "Then I do yoga. I have a gym in my apartment—it’s fabulous and overlooks Central Park. It’s gorgeous, and I’m busy, so I think that also helps keep you in shape when you’re running around."
Aside from yoga, Luann is a big fan of nature hikes in upstate New York, where she has a house in the Hudson Valley. When she has access to a gym, she runs on a treadmill for 15 minutes to get her heart pumping before she tackles her resistance training routine.
As for her diet, she told People that she drinks a LOT of water. "I think working out is a really important part of anyone’s daily beauty routine and drinking enough water to hydrate the skin. Remember to drink 20 min before & 20 min after meals. I use Dr. Daryl Gioffre’s mineral & green juices every morning and stick to a protein-based, Mediterranean diet," she said.
What still remains a mystery: Luann's head-to-toe golden mask. Followers wondering, "what the c-3P0 is happening here," will have to be patient.

If you find yourself shivering on this winter's day, just head on over to Luann de Lesseps' Instagram feed. The cabaret singer is soaking up enough sun for all of us during a stay in Miami. She's also turning up the heat by showing off some very sexy swimwear.
In a February 13 Instagram post, The Real Housewives of New York City pal strolled the beach with a relaxed smile on her face. (Her perfectly tanned face, we might add.) Luann wore a black swimsuit with an asymmetrical cutout around the middle, and accented the elegant look with a straw hat and sunglasses. She couldn't be more out-of-office chic.

The Real Housewives of New York star , 56, turned heads in a skimpy black bikini while hanging out with pals Elena Luna and Zhanna Zervos.
Strolling along the sand, Luann wore her cropped hair loose in beach waves and protected her eyes with a pair of chic shades.
The women headed to a beach club for a bite to eat and drink in between soaking up the sun.
RHONY sparked cancelation rumors after record-low ratings and the Real Housewives Ultimate Girl's trip when Ramona Singer was slammed as "racist" towards her co-star Kenya Moore.
Last summer, the Bravo show reached an all-time low with one July episode only serving 764,000 live viewers.
The reason behind the change in viewership was not clearly defined, but many attributed the issue to the producer's casting choices.
It’s unclear if the show will be returning for new series, but Luann said she was still hopeful.
In a recent conversation with David Yontef on Behind The Velvet Rope , she said: "I just know that there will be a next season and I'm really looking forward to getting, you know, getting our show back and getting, you know, getting our, our girls back on Bravo, you know?
"So I have no doubt. The show is definitely coming back and you know, we're going to come back stronger than ever because we're in New York City."

Luann hit the beach in a red-hot bikini and a white fedora in Tulum, Mexico.
The mom-of-two showed off her sexy bikini body on a girls trip.
She was also reportedly seen buying clothes from local vendors while enjoying her getaway from a cold New York City.
The RHONY star was also spotted cooling off in the ocean and frolicking on the beach in a white bikini.
Earlier this week, Luann posted a topless photo of herself while covered in yellow clay on the beach.
She covered her breasts with starfish stickers only wearing bikini bottoms, while her entire body was painted in bright yellow clay.
Luann captioned the post: "Claycation."
One RHONY fan commented: "What the… Lu Simpson?"
Last month Luann was slammed for partying without a mask in Florida after the show was shut down over Covid.
The Bravo star was pictured with a group of friends just days after filming was shut down when one of the cast tested positive to Covid-19.
A RHONY insider told DailyMail.com people behind the scenes are furious with Luann partying with Real Housewives of Miami stars Marysol Patton, Alexia Echevarria and other friends.
The source said: “This is absolutely outrageous.
“All eyes are on our show because someone has tested positive for the virus. Yet she hops on a plane to Florida, rips off the mask and is singing and dancing at a party with a large group of women.
In November, Luann went official with hunky trainer boyfriend Garth Wakeford and revealed the pair met on a dating app during the pandemic.
Luann told the Ex Appeal podcast : "We actually met on the dating app.
"He lives locally in the Hamptons… We took it very slow because it's a pandemic but it's been a nice thing to happen during a pandemic, to meet someone you like."
The singer divorced her second ex Tom D'Agostino in 2017.
