Grasping tightly the cigar I purchased yesterday eve, I pen these few brief lines, hoping to draw you, dear reader, closer—deeper, into the essence of who I am.

I, known to most as Earl Hawkins, have chosen to embrace a name I hold dear: ‘El’ or ‘Kins’. It is my humble aim that this shall convey to others that we are, at the very least, one step nearer. Truth be told, I find my disposition to shift, ebb, and flow with great frequency. Perhaps it is the nature of my engagements? When caught up in tasks, I am often still, and somewhat formidable in presence. Let it be noted pray, do not challenge me in such times. Yet, all contrasts to this when leisure permits shall you find me more loquacious, waiting eagerly for your words. I shall be light-hearted, filled with jest, inquiring about your days past and those yet to come. I take great delight in crafting private names, shared only between us. And how I cherish introducing you to my companions, with a pride most dear.

As for my pastimes, daily I carve out at least an hour to immerse myself in films or series that bring me joy particularly those of action, horror, crime, and detective genres. Now, as we turn to music, I find my soul stirred by the melodies of Kahitna, Judika, Afgan, Ada Band, Kerispatih, Sal priadi, and Dewa19. Songs from timeless bands and local Indonesian treasures, I find a deep affection for them.

Allow me, then, to write but a final note: the greatest of gifts to you, should you become my beloved, lies in my passion for writing verses and poems inspired by you, my dearest. I shall ensure that you, my companion, shall live eternal within the beautiful words penned by hands that speak only with the truest heart.
