What were your original intentions when first creating the game?

There aren't many baihe romance simulation visual novels on the market, but we really wanted to play them, so we decided to take matters into our own hands. After many trials and tribulations, we succeeded and finished our job. We are so happy seeing that there are more and more baihe games being released now!

Will you consider adding new romanceable characters?

No, we'll only have the four romanceable characters we have now. The other supporting characters undertake different narrative roles in the plot. Their characters aren't intended to become love interests for the protagonist.

Is there a chance this game will be ported to the Nintendo Switch?

We do have this planned, and we'll let everyone know if it's confirmed.

Whose plot was easiest to write?

Victoria > Nyx > Iris >>> Eleanor.

Victoria's personality is more robust than the other characters. Her romantic plotline was easy to plan. She's everyone's favorite cutie pie.

Nyx's yandere personality adds tension and drama to the plot. Our writer did an incredible job balancing this.

Iris's difficult and competitive personality was a super strong debuff. It was a huge challenge depicting her fluctuating moods while simultaneously making her loveable.

Someone like Eleanor is rarely seen in reality. A cool-headed workaholic genius. Portraying Eleanor as someone in love is like defying gravity... Eleanor has the most discarded drafts amongst all the characters. Many of her conversations were rewritten because they weren't interesting enough.

Rank the five characters in terms of wealth?

Victoria > Eleanor > Selene > Nyx > Iris

Victoria: Daughter of the Qi Group, Huanyu Technology's CEO, earns a high salary and her family owns many properties.

Eleanor: She often invests her money, and has accumulated a good amount of savings.

Selene: Comes from a middle-class household. After starting university, her parents bought her an apartment near campus as a birthday present.

Nyx: Her family's circumstances aren't great, but she's a slightly famous streamer.

Iris: Her monthly salary might be very high, but she needs to support her family.

Who's an early bird, and who's a night owl?

Ranking based on who wakes up earliest: Victoria = Eleanor > Iris > Selene > Nyx

The ones that could be called "night owls" are Nyx (streaming), Cassidy (gaming), and Rosalie (going out to nightclubs).

Are Iris and Victoria related to Fuguang in any way?

They aren't. Iris and Victoria are Selene's soulmates in her current life. Our intention was to avoid having all romanceable characters be related to her past life so that players who only enjoy modern genres can also have fun.

What would happen to the romanceable characters if they didn't date Selene?

It's similar to how Selene gradually matured into Aurora if she stayed single. Falling in love is not all there is to life. The true meaning of life is to pursue our own selves. They are all talented women. Even if they don't fall in love, they'll do their best in life, relying on their own power to solve all their problems and be happy.

What happens to Selene's job after Nyx kidnaps her?

Phoenix and Aurora will help her request a leave of absence.

What does Aurora do after each ending?

She silently watches everything. Aurora is a master cultivator. She exists simultaneously in all times and places. To her, time is nonlinear. The past, the present, and the future exist all at once, as if written in a book—it all depends on what page she wants to flip to.

In the Iris and Victoria routes, is Nyx sealed away again?

After Aurora takes Nyx away, she does not trap her again. Instead, she erases Nyx's memories of her past life and forever seals away the powers of Chimei that still reside in her body. Aurora will continue to monitor Nyx from the shadows.

Apart from that, in the Iris and Victoria routes, Selene's star returns to its original place after they start dating. That proves that in those routes, Nyx isn't Selene's soulmate, so Aurora takes her away. In Eleanor's route, Selene and Eleanor's feelings aren't completely clear, so Aurora won't interfere before then.

In Selene's death ending, will Nyx die with her in the name of love?

No. Nyx will wait until Selene reincarnates and she’ll find her again.

Nyx mentioned applying to university in her epilogue. Has it been considered what she would major in?

Psychology or sociology.

Where did the idea for Iris's character some from?

We thought about the beloved xuejie trope that people love, but that character would be too perfect. Is that her true nature, or is that a mask she intentionally puts on? We continued pondering this and polishing her character, while simultaneously developing her personality. During development, we were worried that the flaws in her personality would make players dislike her. Fortunately, everyone ended up accepting Iris's imperfect self.

What jobs has Iris worked as?

Barista, tutor, video editing, self-media, model, and more.

Would Iris wear athletic wear? Is she the sporty type, or is she weak and low energy?

She'll wear athletic wear when it's appropriate. She's not sporty. Her body is somewhat weak, but at her jobs she'll exercise her arm strength.

The romance is Victoria's route is simply too delicious. How did the team come up with this?

We thought carefully about how to portray the contrast of an aloof boss in the workplace, especially the differences between how she would interact with the player in private, and how she'd present herself in the office. Victoria is more obtuse when it comes to emotions. Selene need to slowly guide her. As her and Selene's relationship gradually intensifies, she'll finally show an even gentler side of herself.

How did Victoria react when she and Selene first kissed and hugged?

Victoria will do her research beforehand. She'll go online to read about other people's experiences. Still, during her first time, she was somewhat flustered and inexperienced.

Rosalie and Victoria have a very complicated relationship. What are their feelings towards each other?

The two once relied upon each other. Their similar experiences make it so that they have a shared, mutual understanding, but Rosalie's innermost desire to profit outweighed that all. In the end, the two walked towards opposite directions.

Does Eleanor often go to the gym? Or does she train at home?

Eleanor goes to the gym and works out at home. She has some exercise equipment in her apartment.

Is Jianghe bad at cooking too, like Eleanor is? Are there any differences in how Jianghe/Fuguang and Eleanor/Selene interact with each other?

Yes, it's engraved as a part of Jianghe's (Eleanor's) soul.

When facing Fuguang, Jianghe is somewhat hypocritical. Fuguang's temperament is more mature, so she'll forgive Jianghe in many aspects. The Eleanor today is calmer, but also more scheming than the Jianghe in the past. She loves teasing Selene. The two joke around like people of their age group would.

Is there a reason why Eleanor is scared of cockroaches?

Not really. Eleanor is scared of all bugs, including cockroaches.

After the lawsuit, what happens to Rosalie?

Rosalie continues navigating the intersections between all these different sources of power. She'll wait for the right time to flip things around. This woman won't be so easily defeated.

Why did Rosalie arrange a marriage for Victoria?

Victoria's arranged wife is the daughter of a financial group in another country. That woman originally was in love with Rosalie, wholeheartedly hoping to marry her. But Rosalie has historically spurned the shackles of marriage, so she secretly plotted, transferring this marriage to Victoria instead. In Victoria's epilogue, that wealthy woman was furious. She took in the exiled to abroad Rosalie and viciously enacted revenge upon her. Rosalie only has herself to blame.
