Privacy Policy — LoujWeb (Android TV Browser)

Effective date: 10 Aug 2025

LoujWeb (“the App”) is an Android TV web browser that loads and displays third-party websites. We designed the App to work without collecting personal data from you.

What we (the App) collect

  • No account, no analytics, no ads. The App does not ask for an account and does not include analytics or advertising SDKs.
  • Local settings only. The start URL you save is stored locally on your device (SharedPreferences) and is not sent to us.

What third-party sites may collect

When you browse, the websites you visit may use cookies, local storage, and their own analytics or advertising tools. Their behavior is governed by their privacy policies, not ours.

Permissions the App uses

  • Internet access: Required to load web pages and open links.
  • Open links in other apps: If a page contains a deep link (e.g., intent://, mailto:, tel:), the App will hand it off to the appropriate installed app on your device.

Log and diagnostic information

We do not build our own logs or telemetry. Your device or the app store may generate standard crash reports or diagnostics at the OS/store level. These are managed by those platforms under their own policies.

Children’s privacy

The App is a general-purpose browser for Android TV and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us directly (which the App does not request), please contact us so we can address it.

Data retention

We retain no personal data on our servers. Local settings remain on your device until you uninstall the App or clear the App’s data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Effective date” above and, where reasonable, highlight significant changes in the App listing.
