The fiancée of Donald Trump's new finance boss once appeared nude in a horror film which flopped.
Actress Louise Linton, 35, was pictured standing alongside former Goldman Sachs banker Steve Mnuchin as he was sworn in to be Treasury Secretary last week.
Mnuchin, 54, also has long-standing links with Hollywood having produced blockbusters such as Avatar and The Lego Movie.
He split from his wife and mother of his children Heather deCrosby in 2014 and is now engaged to Linton.
She first made headlines last year after she self-published a book about her time in Zambia which was ridiculed.
Entitled 'In Congo's Shadows', critics said the memoir was full of stereotypes of Africa and accused Linton of inventing a story of having fled armed rebels.
Linton wore a demure blue dress and cardigan for her trip to the White House.
But last year she bared a lot more flesh in a horror film called 'Intruder' which was panned by critics.
Linton plays a cellist who is stalked by a home invader and has some nude scenes in the shower as well as an x-rated bedroom romp.
In its review, the Hollywood Reporter suggested the nudity was an attempt to spice up an otherwise dull plot line.
'Intruder' has just one star and an 18% rating on the site Rotten Tomatoes.
Frank Scheck wrote: "It's all about as dreary as the constant rainfall featured as part of the Portland, Ore., setting, and the director, when he's not leeringly photographing his leading lady's naked body in the shower, vainly tries to up the scare ante by periodically raising the soundtrack volume to intolerable levels. "

THE wife of Donald Trump's finance boss is facing a backlash for boasting about her wealth on Instagram – but the gorgeous movie star is no stranger to the limelight.

Louise Linton was slammed for posting a glamorous photo of her getting off a plane with her husband, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin.
Critics accused her of showing off, with one writing: "Glad we could pay for your little getaway. #deplorable."
In a statement, Linton said: "I apologise for my post on social media yesterday as well as my response. It was inappropriate and highly insensitive."
But it's not the first time Linton, 35, has hit the headlines.
Earlier this year Scottish-born Linton stood beside her husband Mnuchin as he took his oath at the White House.
The actress wore a humble dark blue dress and cardigan for the ceremony – in stark contrast to her latest X-rated movie, Intruder.
In the steamy flick she appears in several eye-popping scenes, including showering naked and romping with a co-star.
Linton shot to fame last year when she was accused of making up passages in her diary about living in Africa.
The wife-to-be of Mnuchin, 54, starred alongside music legend Moby in the 2016 thriller.
In the film she plays a woman home alone while her husband is one a business trip to Japan.
Minor roles alongside alongside Tom Cruise and Robert Redford have also helped propel her into the public eye.
Her fiancee on the other hand is the wealthiest man to ever hold the Secretary Of Treasury position.
The millionaire also has experience in the movie industry having helped produce the recent Lego Batman Movie.
Last year Linton was slammed for allegedly fabricating a near death experience when writing a memoir of her volunteer work in Zambia.
She described how the trip become a “nightmare” when she was forced to flee from armed rebels from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
But Zambians lashed out at the account online, claiming her story was untrue.
Reflecting on her time in Africa, she later said: “I know that the skinny white girl once so incongruous in Africa still lives on inside me."
