Lost Dogs: REX Game Rules

Lost Dogs

Game Description

The Random Exchange (REX) is an experimental game where players can attempt to:

1. Significantly increase their $WOOF balance.

2. By playing with larger amounts of $WOOF, claim a share of TON from the pool each game day.

3. Obtain NFTs from the original Lost Dogs collection.

Quick Rules Overview

The game utilizes players’ $WOOF balances obtained from the previous game Lost Dogs: The Way. (New players automatically receive 1 $WOOF on their balance to participate in the game). Each game day, players can randomly exchange part of their balance for another player’s balance or potentially win a super prize — a huge amount of $WOOF. Players can either freeze the result of the exchange or initiate an additional exchange with another random player if they wish. At the end of the game day, collected TON is distributed among participants in proportion to the $WOOF players exchanged first from their balances. The more $WOOF you commit to exchanges in the current round, the greater your share of the total TON pool!

Starting an Exchange

At the beginning of a game day, players choose how much of their $WOOF balance they want to send for a random exchange with another player. The more $WOOF a player selects, the lower the TON fee required to participate; conversely, the less $WOOF a player commits, the higher the TON fee for that day. This system helps offset the potential advantage of exchanging $WOOF.

Executing an Exchange

After linking their wallet, paying the TON fee for participating in the game day, and confirming the transaction, the random exchange process begins with another player. The exchange time may vary, depending on the number of active players at that particular time, and can take between 5-15 minutes on average. If you initiate an exchange but it doesn’t occur during the game day, the $WOOF you sent and the TON you paid will be returned to your balance by the end of the game day.

Successful Exchange

Upon a successful exchange, the results will be displayed on the screen. If the exchange was profitable (i.e., you received more $WOOF than you initially had), the amount will be highlighted in green; otherwise, it will be marked in red. But until the game day ends, your “new” (post-exchange) amount of $WOOF will continue to participate in further random exchanges unless you freeze it or until the game day ends!

New Exchanges

A few minutes after a successful exchange, your new $WOOF balance will be available for further exchanges with other players. The initiation of a new exchange depends on the remaining time left in the game day and the activity of other players.

To avoid further exchanges and secure your current balance, you can freeze it for the rest of the game day by pressing the button at the bottom of the screen and paying the required TON fee. Alternatively, if you are not satisfied with the current $WOOF amount after an exchange, you can immediately initiate a new one by choosing the new exchange option at the bottom of the screen and paying the specified TON fee.

One Hour Before Game Day Ends

During this period, no new $WOOF amounts will be accepted for exchanges, although existing exchanges will continue to process.

End of the Game Day

At the end of the game day, all users’ $WOOF balances are adjusted based on the results of random exchanges. TON spent by players on game participation, additional exchanges, and freezing bets is distributed among the participants. The distribution principle is proportional to the initial $WOOF amounts committed to exchanges at the start of the game day: the more $WOOF you committed at the beginning, the larger the share of the TON pool you receive.

Additional Details

1. After completing an exchange, your balance is automatically frozen for 5 minutes, allowing you time to decide on your next actions and to complete any transactions. This freeze period may change during the game depending on network load and other factors.

2. If your transaction is completed but, for some reason, the app does not register it (i.e., the exchange or freeze is not processed), we will refund those funds to your wallet at the end of the game day, along with the distribution of prize TON to all participants.

3. The time it takes to process an exchange can vary greatly and depends entirely on the number of players and their actions at that moment.
