Summary of Position: The C5 + ONE (Opening Networks through English) Logistics Assistant will work in a team with the Program Director, Senior Program Officer, and Program Officer on this new project that supports English for special purposes (energy and environment) for young professionals throughout Central Asia and will report to the Program Officer. The Logistics Assistant will provide programmatic support to implement this project delivering English for special purposes programming. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support Program Officer to carry out daily task-based and administrative functions related to a wide range of programmatic needs;

• Create and disseminate program and marketing material in English and local languages;

• Supporting data collection and monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities related to the program;

• Responding to various questions/inquiries received from program participants;

• Liaising with venues and vendors, compiling pricing estimates, and assisting with procurement processes;

• Traveling to program sites for recruitment, observation, and testing purposes;

• Conduct informational meetings for program participants, partners, funders, and other stakeholders;

• Lead logistical preparations and schedules for events including orientations, trainings, or visits by delegations;

• Work with participants and partners to obtain documents needed for participation;

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a relevant field of study;

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in program administration or position with similar duties;

• Outstanding time management, organization and planning skills;

• Demonstrated excellence in communication and multicultural interpersonal skills;

• Fluent in English and one or more local languages;

• Proactive, independent, and flexible in task management and program implementation;

• Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings, when needed;

• Experience in budget management;

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software suite and common social media platforms;

• Citizen of the country in which the individual applies to work or eligibility to work in that country.
