After rewatching the first season, he was very excited about this movie. The last episode of the first season not only generates a lot of anticipation for this. But it's been available in Japan since last year and it was just smashing every sales record imaginable while also getting rave reviews. So I've been looking forward to seeing this movie for a while. Boy oh boy was I not disappointed, it was amazing. So let's talk about it. Also spoiler alert, this will be almost game-for-game in parts.

This film is clearly divided into four acts. The first three are very good. On its own, the movie would have been a 9/10 for me, scratching a 10. Once again, I love the trio and their chemistry. Then you add Rengoku, who is just amazing. The way the trio is drawn to and admired by their fiery passion was cute. He, without hesitation, says that he will take them all under his wing and train them. Also, his flame breathing is cool as hell. This being his second most formal performance, it was very strong.

The second act is the first climax of the film. With everyone in their individual dream sequences. While Zenitsu and Inosuke's were fun and a bit interesting. Rengoku and Tanjirou's where the highlights. Starting with Rengoku, his dream/flashback developed his character well. I really want to see why his father gave up the sword. But seeing Rengoku's dreams crushed by the person who built that dream for him was difficult. But that fiery spirit that he has never fades. I love that about his character.
