- The Cordy Company is live tonight! The ribbon cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the opening of Casino Pittsburgh. These are the two live shows that opened in Commonwealth, Pennsylvania! It's an important milestone for the company, which opened as the first of its branded casinos.

Kodish Company CEO John Kodish, managing partner Joe Weinberg and Kodish Gaming Group Chairman Rob Norton attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for their successor, state Senate Majority Leader Kim Ward and state Representative George Dunbar. Westmoreland County Commissioners Sean Curtis, Douglas Chew and Gina Seriri, members of the Hempfield Township Oversight Board and numerous business and community leaders from the area also attended to celebrate the exciting event that will cement Live!. As part of the Kodish Company's continued commitment to the community, Kodish officials presented checks for $15,000 each to Westmoreland County Food Bank and Sages Army. The donation is intended to provide hunger relief and help with substance use disorders in the region, and comes from the date of testing conducted by casinos to prepare for opening night.

Casino Pittsburgh will provide the region with $188 million in annual economic effect, an additional $148 million in economic effect from construction, and $47.5 million in tax revenue. The facility will provide more than 500 permanent new jobs for locals and locals.

The 100,000-square-foot two-story building has 750 modern slots, about 30 live table games and industry-leading fan dual sportsbooks. The casino, located on the first floor only, is available to customers over 21 years old. The second floor is available to customers of all ages and offers a variety of entertainment and food options, including live music and non-casino games. Live! Casino also features more than 6,000 surrounding ground floor spaces and more parking spaces in the Westmoreland Mall parking lot, making for amazing accessibility and parking.
