Live Audio Stream, Playlists and Music/Voice Player bar UI
MehranHey everyone! Let's talk about this concept.
Here's the description about these 4 features:
- This concept brings the all-new Live Audio Streaming to Telegram's design life.
Many of us always wanted a radio-like feature that let's us deliver any voice or music to people. This can go further to bring video streaming, and hopefully I'll create another UI based on video streaming too.
- The live stream can bring much more features to life, like "Nearby Radio". I didn't add it to the video. It was long enough and the feature's name is enough to describe it.
You can see some options on starting a live stream:
- Stream quality: Bandwidth usage is important. For streamer, and for the listener. So for streaming some audio that needs high quality, like performing a live music, you can choose high quality and for a normal talking radio, an average quality.
- Private streaming: You may like your stream to be listened only by your channel members, so in that case the streaming message won't work while is forwarded and used by people that are not subscribers.
- Save as file: You, as the streamer, may want to access the voice file after you finished your streaming. So you can access that from your Saved Messages.- So here we have a new Playlists feature. Previously, if you wanted to have a list of music in Telegram, the only workaround was to create a single-subscriber private channel; Now, you can pack some music from a chat into a Playlist. It's so simple that it gathers them into just one message. (There's a message sample inside the video - 0:34) Tapping on the message opens a common player page containing a list of music it has.
The Playlist can be shared just like any other message. So you can share a bunch of music without sending a lot of files separately.
- In this design the music player bar is moved to bottom, and this makes it possible for music player to be displayed on pages that current UI won't show it (like settings page). By this design you can see the music cover without fully opening the player.
You can also go to next/previous song just by swiping the player (just like how it is in the current UI)
This new UI made a new home in the app for Live Streaming. - Beside the new UI for Voice messages, this UI supports Voice Over Music feature. So by toggling this feature on, if someone sends a voice, listening to that voice won't interrupt your music. You can see how it works in the video.
I hope you enjoy this design.
