Designed for children age three and older who enjoy playing "mommy," this life-like doll features a repertoire of more than 60 phrases, songs, and sounds. From playing peek-a-boo to walking with her colorful pooch, she offers hours of interactive enjoyment while helping to encourage a nurturing behavior.

This cheerful toy has positionable arms, friendly eyes, and soft hair with cute ringlets. .
Walk & Giggle doll keeps her "mommy" busy as she walks, talks, giggles, and interacts. .
The doll is easily removed from the box by turning and removing two simple key locks from the back, then unfastening the clear rubber bands from the doll's wrists. The bottle, pacifier, and blanket are also fastened by rubber bands. Parents may need to use scissors to cut the flexible wire attaching the puppet to box. To get playtime started, power up the doll with 6 "AA"/LR6 alkaline batteries (not included) -- two in the back (underneath the pajamas) along with two in each foot. A small Phillips head screwdriver is required to open the battery doors.
Once the batteries are installed, simply flip the power switch on her back, which is located just above the battery door, and playtime can begin. The doll's special "magic-touch" hands respond to touch, so your child only needs to touch a finger to get the doll talking and giggling. A button on her tummy can also be pressed to get her started. She has a set of more than 60 randomized songs, sounds, and phrases that include "Bottle, mama?" "Tickle me!" and "Let's play peek-a-boo!"
She Walks, Talks, Giggles, and Plays
The Walk & Giggle doll can stand up and walk all by herself. When placed in a sitting position on a flat surface, this doll can get herself to a standing position, then begin walking. If she falls down, she can get up on her own. If she is lying flat and facing down, the doll will automatically get up without assistance -- if she is lying flat and facing up, she cannot get up and will ask for help by saying, "Help me up, mama!"
The Walk & Giggle doll keeps her "mommy" busy. Tickle her and she wiggles and giggles. When she requests her bottle, it's time to give her a sip from her favorite bottle with its dancing teddy bear design. She also keeps on-the-go by walking her colorful pooch, who is equipped with wheels and a leash for an easy stroll. When she asks to play Peek-a-Boo, place her hands in the corner pockets of the included blanket, then touch both hands simultaneously -- she will know it's Peek-a-Boo time and bring the blanket up to her eyes.
Pretend-and-Play Design Helps Teach Language and Social Skills
The interactive design of the Walk & Giggle doll not only entertains children, it also helps develop their language and social skills. The doll's repertoire of phrases help children to practice speech while at play, so the experience is both entertaining and educational. And the practice of helping the doll -- from feeding her to lending a hand when she falls down -- encourages nurturing behavior in a child, helping lead to generosity and friendliness in social environments such as classrooms and play groups.
The doll's realistic sounds and random, interactive phrases make an excellent stimulation for role-playing. However, children may have some difficulty at first understanding some of the doll's phrases. This toy was definitely worth the money! It is so cute. It says many things, and can interact with my daughter's touch. It comes with a dog on a leash, bottle, blanket, and pacifier. This doll stands, walks, sits, and lays down to go to sleep. She asks for water, her dog, and to be tickled, which she giggles when done. If you touch her hand while she is in the sitting position, she begins to play peek-a-boo. If she falls over, she cries. However, when she is picked up, she laughs. She wobbles, like a real baby learning to walk. She praises herself when she stands, asks for help, and asks to be picked up. She truly is an interactive and fun toy. However, this doll is supposed to say something like 60 phrases, sounds, and songs, but I have not heard her sing any songs other than a series of repeated "lalas." (But maybe this is what is meant.) This baby burps, and then says excuse me. All in all, this was an excellent purchase. My daughter has hours of fun with her at a time. She really loves this doll, and still cracks up at the things she does. I must admit that I am fascinated by her as well. It was money well spent!

I have had this doll for about a week. I was a bit skeptical at first because of the six batteries it took. But, she is so adorable, it is worth it. I bought her for a gift but kept her because she is so delightful. Her sweet phrases, giggles and funny actions make her so much fun and she makes everyone laugh. We had our family over today for Christmas Eve and the adult children and grand children had a wonderful time playing with her. It is so refreshing all the sweet things she can say and the more I work with her the more she does. At first I thought she could not do all the things that they said she could. But, as you work with her you learn how to interact with her. It amazes me how she can get up from a sitting position and sit down without help.
She has to be made of harder plastic in her arms and legs to walk and sit down. She has joints which allow her to do these things and it does not bother me. The only thing, I would recommend is to have her eyes open and close. So, if you need A soft Cuddly Baby doll, your child may not be old enough to enjoy her yet. My 8 year old granddaughter really enjoyed her today and she is old enough to interact with her and help her work to her full capabilities. It does require your interaction. But, let me tell me you, my 89 year old mother fell in love with her, and wants one too. They are beginning to realize that dolls can be helful and company for the elderly. They have begun using them for Austic children and the elderly. I cannot wait to purchase another one for my mother. I am also getting her a soft cooing baby. I am planning to work with one of our local nursing homes, as well and will donate some so see just how they will work. Many of our elderly are lonely and this has been a new experiment that seems to working well. They are primarily using the softer ones but I believe there is a big market for ones that can walk and talk and allow more interaction.
This precious doll is Not ugly by any means. She has a sweet face and is so cute. No, you cannot style her hair or change her clothes but we cannot have it all with just one doll. She is not a Baby Doll. She talks clearly and walks and falls down laughing, kicking her feet and arms in the air just like a real toddler. She has the sweetest attitude and is a lot of fun. If she does not make you laugh, then something is wrong. I would recommend her to the older girls and adults. She truly does all they say she can and I think you will be pleasantly surprised if you are not expecting too much. Her clothes cannot be changed and I was a bit disappointed at first, but I believe there is a new "Little Mommy" Doll that dances and that you may be able to change her clothes? But, I am very pleased with my Little Mommy Doll and my granddaughter and I will have many hours of fun with her. She is so sweet you will think she knows what you are saying and I think you will love her once you get to know her. lol

Otherwise, it won't even turn on! She is a cute doll that my daughter begged me for, but is hard to come by in stores now. She seems to only be available online. I don't believe that she says as many words or makes as many sounds as they claim on the front of the box, but she really does go from standing to walking to sitting to laying... as long as you are on level floor. She doesn't work as well on cerammic tile and definately not good on high pile carpet. My little girl got such a kick out of one of the 4 little accessories which was the doggie pull toy she came with. Also included is her blanket, a pacifier that doesn't stay in well, and a bottle. My favorite thing about her is when baby lays down she says "I'm sleepy mommy" and when she falls over she cries like a real baby. The downside to having her is that when shes off her limbs are rigid. My little girl tries to force her into a sitting position that could break the gears inside if she continues to try to "form" her. You just have to shut her off in the position you want them in for pretend play. Lastly, the batteries will need changed soon and it has only been about 4 weeks now. The babies movements are getting sluggish. She is an overall great learning toy and would be enjoyable for your little girl.

The only problem that we can see so far is that the doll when going from the sitting position to standing up will fall over before she stands up completely. We watched the video on here first and the doll doesn't fall over, so I don't know if this may be with just our doll or not. Also it's a battery hog. Other than that though, my daughter enjoys it and she's 6 years old. She likes that the doll will ask her for things like it's blanket and it'll say that it wants it puppy. This doll is just for play, it's not a snuggly "sleep with you in the bed" type doll and if you try to move it's arms or legs it makes a loud popping noise, I'm sure that if you did that too much it might break.
