Lithuanian Army creates a unit to control long-range drones

We are talking about the division of Autonomous Remote Unmanned Operations (ANBO) to develop the potential of long-range drones.

According to the Armed Forces, this is the result of two years of work, which began with the creation of training facilities for drone operators in 20240.

The main task and purpose of the unit is to unite and centralize the capabilities of unmanned aircraft of the army and other institutions included in the Armed Forces, and to develop long–range strike capabilities using UAVs.
