Lisa Ann announced her retirement from porn back in December of 2014 . When she left, she was widely considered to be one of the most popular pornstars on Earth. Now, after a little more than three years away from smut, Lisa Ann has announced that she’s coming out of retirement and will begin shooting hardcore scenes again.
This is probably gonna have a lot of people really fucking excited.
The announcement came via a video (embedded up top) that was filmed by industry legend Holly Randall and posted to Lisa’s Youtube page on January 12th. In the video, Ms. Ann explains why she’s coming back to porn and that her first Boy/Girl scene will be with Isiah Maxwell ( just ranked by Die-Screaming as the #4 Best Male Pornstar of 2017 , btw). She also announced that the Lisa Ann premium website would be relaunched and will feature both membership and streaming VOD purchase options for fans.
When she left the industry a few years ago, it caught a lot of people off guard. Even though she had established herself as one of the most elite superstars in the business and was at the top of her game, Lisa had said that she wanted to move on and focus on other aspects of her career, including hosting a fantasy sports show on SiriusXM.
So why is she coming back now? If you already watched the video up top, you know the answer. But, for everyone else, here’s what Lisa Ann had to say about her return…
When I left the business, I was probably very burt out. I was overwhelmed. There was a little bit of bullying, there was a lot of nastiness. A lack of compassion. Things that I needed to get in touch with in the outside world and I think that in the last three years a lot of things changed, but one of the things that hasn’t changed is how I view myself.
I was so convinced that I was going to be a different person when I left the business because everyone was like, ‘oh, everything is gonna be better.’ But I’m the same. I’m the same. I’m confident in what I’m doing, I loved shooting before and I let that, kind of, public opinion make me believe that I was going to be a better person for not shooting anymore.
And I also had this weird thing that when I was turning forty, forty-one, forty-two where I felt, like, oh my gosh, I’m too old to be in front of the camera. And what’s interesting is when you stop worrying what you look like and you start to focus on your overall wellness and your health, all of the sudden you look better without trying because it’s for the right purpose.
I’m living a healthier life. I’m eating better. I don’t drink. All of these things that I slowly removed from my life and then one day I woke up and I’m like, you look so great, why wouldn’t you want to be back in front of the camera?
Lisa Ann’s new “return to porn” scene with Isiah Maxwell will be included in the upcoming Lisa Ann: Back 4 More film from Evil Angel. In addition to her comeback scene, the movie will also features Lisa Ann performing a variety of hardcore action.
You can also get to see the new scene on Lisa’s Onlyfans . I’m not sure if she’ll be posting the same version there that will also appear in Lisa Ann: Back 4 More but if you’re a hardcore Ann fan, it might be worth checking out.

Porn doesn't seem like a fun business to be in, especially for the people in it. Lisa Ann has been able to transition from that industry to fantasy sports, social influencing, and author. I read her first book and while that was great, this was better. This was a sequel, explaining what happened after the first book, a return to porn, and a quick exit back out. It also explains some of the harassment she went through, including dealing with someone in the porn business, who went full psycho on a tweet that Lisa Ann made some general observations on. The relationships with her family and the connection with the first book is an interesting read. I'm always amazed by Lisa Ann because of her perseverance, and lack of self-pity to survive an industry, that consumes too many people.
This was a really good book. I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of hers or if you’ve read her first book. There are some spelling errors but nothing to really take away from the experience.
I loved Lisa's story of how she excelled and flourished from one of the most difficult periods of her life was very encouraging. This is a great read about faith and courage.
A fascinating journey through Lisa's life and career change. If you enjoyed the first book you will definitely enjoy this follow up. Very well thought out and written.
Lisa is a great writer. She describes scenarios so well that you feel like you’re there in the moment with her. She’s self-aware, so it’ll make you feel like you can relate when she talks about what she was feeling in a particular moment. She’s gone through many storms but came out on top. That’s inspiring. I’m sure you’ll enjoy her book as much as I did.
Excellent easy reading, Masterfully written, Deeply moving auto biography. You will read it more than once. It will allow you a glimpse into another world and the life of an active, vibrant, hard working woman.
This book is a great read and very hard hitting! If you want to really get to know her, this is the book to read. We can't understand anyone, until we can see things through their eyes. This book is a perfect example of that. Todd J. Ewing

Loads of typos
Beautiful lady with interesting story but suffers from lack of detail…. No names given. And could have benefited from a proof read… loads of typos and sentences that could have been written more concisely. Feels like it was written in a hurry. Still worth a read though.
