In a new interview with Ocean Drive Magazine , the former SI Swimsuit cover model and current TV personality opened up about going to nude beaches as a child and the influence it's had on her as an adult.
"I grew up going to nude beaches with my parents, so I’m a nudist," she told the magazine. "I have no problems with nudity at all. I’m very free. When I go to the beach, it’s in a very remote place where there are not a lot of people, and I like to go topless."
And while the supermodel and mother of four loves a classic sense of style, she doesn't believe that lingerie can be too sexy.
"Everyone should do what they want to do, [even if it’s] thigh-high stockings and a garter belt that shows a little bit when you sit at the dinner table," she continued. "I don’t think that’s vulgar. I feel comfortable and don’t care if someone sees my nipples necessarily—it’s okay to see the nipple!"
The German-born beauty has come a long way since she graced our cover in nothing but body paint. She was named one of Forbes ' World's Top-Earning Models with $20 million in earnings in 2011, and is one of the highest-paid TV hosts thanks to her long-standing roles on shows like Project Runway and America's Got Talent .

This past weekend a group of my C.O. friends and I got together for drinks and a buffet. As we updated each other about what we were doing, one of the couples mentioned that they had gotten involved taking part in a line dancing group (clothed, of course). Well, it wasn't long before the country music was on the CD player, they showed us a few beginner steps, and all of us, six couples in all, were line dancing. We found out that nude line dancing is lots of fun. Have any of you forum members done any nude line dancing? Since we are largely home nudists, I was wondering how popular this group activity is at the nudist clubs and resorts around the U.S.A.

Never tried line dancing, especially in the nude. Sounds like fun, may have to give it a try.

Well.....I'm all for it. Legal, social, contact with fellow nudists is cool in my book. Arm in arm, or what ever, a harmless, kind touch of another person is a good thing. Having a good time is what it's all about.

ive line danced nude many times when i have been to Cypress Cove and also many other times when ive been to nudist resorts.

There is line dancing at Turtle Lake Resort every dance night.

I'm aging like fine wine ... I'm getting complex and fruity.

Nude or not, I am very "wooden" when it comes to dancing. Also too self-conscious. I probably would if amongst total strangers or total friends. Either way, I would not care how I looked.

I happen not to have seen line dancing at a resort, but I have seen ballroom dancing in the nude at a resort. Their arms were in a ballroom position, but most kept their body a few inches from each other, except some old married couples danced body to body. One young man, who usually went nude, found it necessary to put a towel arouind his waist while dancing with a very lovely beautiful girl.

I've seen it at resorts and it is fun. I don't particularly care for line dancing myself, but any dancing especially while nude is a good time.

Our resort has a lot of dances with live bands. When the "Electric Slide" was a popular song it was played often at our dances and always pulled a crowd out on to the dance floor. More recently...we don't hear it as much.

I'm not a great dancer, and I'm sure not great at line dancing; but I've been thinking for years that naked line dancing would be a hoot! I'm glad to hear that nudist line dancing is an option at a number of clothing optional spots.

So I'll keep my eyes and ears open -- and my clothes off ...

Never tried it but it sounds like a lot of fun, line dancing is only good to dace to country music!
I would love to try nude line dancing, saw a video once from Haulover beach of people line dancing on the beach, looked like they were having a lot of fun.

Now that I think about it, yes, Clothesfree.com had some photos a couple of years ago of a group of nudists doing line dancing on Haulover Beach. It may have even been in one of their videos.

I found the nudist line dancing in ClothesFree TV shows numbers 198 and 221. Haulover looks like a great place to do a bit of nude line dancing.
