Linda Doucett was born on the 2nd July 1958, in Detroit, Michigan USA; unfortunately, she hasn’t shared much from her childhood years, including the names of her parents and their professions, and also failed to mention any siblings, so we can assume that she is a single child.

When it comes to her education, Linda didn’t continue following her high school matriculation, as her modeling career already had momentum.

It was during high school that Linda’s career started, as she secured her first modeling gigs; gradually, she was becoming more popular, which resulted in new work. She then appeared in music videos for bands such as Toto and the Beach Boys, among others. This further improved her popularity and she began appearing in minor roles in films and TV series.

Her acting debut came in 1989 in the film “Scenes from the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills”, starring Jacqueline Bisset, Ray Sharkey, and Mary Woronov. The same year, she also appeared in her boyfriend’s “It’s the Garry Shandling Show”, and two years later featured in the TV series “Herman’s Head”.

As her relationship with Garry developed she became more popular, and when Garry started “The Larry Sanders Show”, she also joined in 1992 in the role of Darlene Chapinni, an assistant to Hank Kingsley, a sidekick to Larry Sanders himself, played by her then-boyfriend Garry Shandling.

She featured in 45 episodes of the Golden Globe Award-nominated show, which increased her popularity and wealth. However, in 1994 she left the show following the end of her romance with Garry, and subsequently sued both Garry and the production company behind the show, Brillstein-Grey Entertainment, for sexual harassment and wrongful termination.
