Whoever said awards shows were glamorous, anyway?
Lily Allen has shared a behind-the-scenes look at exactly what it takes to get ready for an event like the Brit Awards with a very up close and personal clip of her post-awards show, pre-after party beauty transformation.
And apparently it consists of lightening up your nipples and getting your nipple hairs plucked.
To quote Lily herself: "That shit cray."
After debuting her gothic-inspired look on the Brit Awards 2019 red carpet, the singer later took to her Instagram Stories as she changed into a lighter outfit for an after-party, sharing while "on the loo" that she'd changed her wig, for starters.
"Literally lightening my nipples right now," Lily said in another clip, as she filmed a make-up artist helping her to get her second look ready.
"Georgie is literally like plucking hair out of my nipples," she continued. "And I didn't even know they were there, because I haven't obviously looked at my nipples for so long. That shit cray!"
Ah, celebrities. They're just like us. It's all worth it for the final look, though.
Earlier this year, Lily confirmed that she and her partner of three years had split , leaving her single for the first time since she was about 15.
"I’ve just come back from a tour in America , which is where I was when things went wrong with [ex-husband] Sam [Cooper], and the same thing happened in my current relationship," the singer explained last month.
"I mean, I didn’t take lots of drugs and have lots of sex with other people. I just became very lost. It's been bad news after bad news and the fact that I haven’t called him and been like, 'Can you come round for a cuddle?' is big for me."
Lily recently opened up about having to rebuild her life after her marriage to Sam Cooper broke down, and documented more of her experiences in her autobiography, My Thoughts Exactly , which is out now.

But Lily Allen was keeping things spicy as she posed topless in a racy post taken in the bath on her Instagram Story on Sunday.
The Not Fair hitmaker, 35, was seen sticking her tongue out in the video which she recorded in a mirror by her bathtub.

She captioned the video: 'My phone case is also a wallet'.
The Brit award-winning singer tied her hair back into a messy bun for her relaxing Sunday evening soak.

This isn't the first time Lily has sparked engagement rumours and in December the star wore a ring on her wedding finger during a festive walk in New York with David.
While in November, the singer fuelled rumours she had taken her relationship to the next level, as she stepped out in Chelsea wearing a band on her wedding finger.

Lily Allen has got topless for a spot of dancing on Instagram.
The mum-of-two recorded herself for the video in which she appears wearing only her Spanx as she moves around to a bit of Drake.
Covering her boobs with her arm, Lily - who was recently in hospital due to dehydration - grinds and thrusts to the rapper's tune Started From the Bottom as she moves around what looks like an office.
She puts on silly voices as she moves around in the bizarre, raunchy clip - while describing herself as a "cool" parent.
Writing on Instagram, she joked: "Cool mum #drakespanxdance"
It seems stripping off to have a bit of a boogie to Drake is something the Air Balloon singe r wants us all to do - and apparently it's "quite liberating".
She later tweeted: "I can highly recommend dancing around to Drake in Spax, quite liberating."
It may well be, Lily - but most people would keep it between themselves and their four walls!
That said, the star isn't one to keep her body or opinions under wraps, recently appearing on stage wearing just a dominatrix-style chain mail jumpsuit.
She was seen writing around on stage at the Mojo club in Manburg in the skin-tight number, which clung to her every curve (and looked rather uncomfortable, we must say).
Lily sported a quirky orange fringe and wore her hair in a knot bun for the show, which saw her booty-popping all over the place.

Lily Allen sparked a frenzy on Instagram today, after going topless for a very candid shot. The singer left nothing to the imagination in the selfie, seemingly taken in her bathroom post-shower, during coronavirus lockdown.
The 34-year-old was immediately inundated with comments and cheeky replies, after uploading the nude shot in view of her 1.2 million followers.
Wearing her dark tresses swept up under a towel, she covered half of her face with her phone as she took a snap in the mirror.
Lily was seemingly wearing nothing else except a ring and a chunky gold bangle.
Her assets were impossible to miss as well as her numerous tattoos, however she retained her modesty thanks to her photo-taking stance.
The hitmaker simply captioned her number: "Needs affirmation."
In less than 30 minutes, Lily had more than 32,000 likes and a whole host of fun replies.
Stacey Dooley enthusiastically got back to her with a whole host of emojis, including numerous complimentary fire images.
When one person told her simply: "WOW," Lily replied by blowing two kisses.
One user told her: "More like ab-firm-ation, amirite?"(sic)
Two others agreed: "Beaut," and: "Queen."
Daisy Lowe, stylist Anna Trevelyan and fashion news director at British Vogue, Olivia Singer, were also amongst those commenting.
Lily has been keeping her fans updated online, while in lockdown with her partner, Stranger Things' David, 45.
Last week Lily gave a glimpse at how she was spending her time during the coronavirus pandemic with two close-up images.
She was seen laying in what appeared to be a bed holding Craig Brown's novel Ma'am Darling.
The star explained: "No content, not doing anything, just reading in bed, then scrolling for a bit, repeat."
Musician Bru-C asked her: "Let’s make a tune pal," in the comments.
Lily, who went make-up free and was dressed in a grey sweatshirt for the upload, wrote back agreeing.
Meanwhile, it comes just days after Lily Allen spoke candidly about her daughter's fears of coronavirus taking over the UK and leaving the country in self-isolation forever, as she took to Instagram Live to address the global pandemic.
The chart-topping singer said she had been following Prime Minster Boris Johnson’s advice as she revealed her eight-year-old daughter Ethel’s concern.
In an Instagram Live video obtained by The Daily Star, the Not Fair singer said Ethel called her from a sleepover on Saturday night with “panic in her voice” that she wouldn't be able to return home.
