Do men like nipple play?

Well, it’s the end of another week, and so there’s just enough time for one more question. I received this one yesterday from our anonymous Have A Question page:
My question is about nipple play. I am a 70+ male, a new reader and subscriber to this blog. Recently, during a snuggling session my wife pinched one of my nipples and then kissed it. Wow! Thunder started crashing – lightning started flashing. What a feeling! Then the sex was out of this world. We have done this several times since with the same results. Is this normal for a male to feel this way?
I think a lot of guys have this question. There’s something taboo about men admitting they like nipple stimulation, as if that’s only acceptable for women. But, physiologically, there’s not much of a difference between men and women’s nipples, if any. It’s the same tissue, the same nerve endings. So, is it normal for men to enjoy nipple play?
Whether we’re talking about men or women, nipple sensitivity is different for different people. There are women who can orgasm just from nipple stimulation, and some for whom nipple stimulation does nothing. I’m not sure if there are men who can orgasm from nipple stimulation, but I do know for a fact that there are men who enjoy it.

Not only from comments in surveys like the one above, but also from emails I’ve gotten over the years. There are many men who find it extremely arousing to have their nipples played with in various ways. And, just like with women, the person, and the arousal level, determines what is enjoyable. Some may like kisses or licks, others bites or pinches, others twisting or pulling. Or, they might like one type of stimulation at first, and a different type of stimulation once they’re more aroused. As well, it can change with stress, hydration levels, age, hormones, fitness, and a variety of other things. For women there are more variables as well (pregnancy, breastfeeding, point in menstrual cycle, etc.).
Now, I can’t tell you just how many men like this, how common is it exactly, or what type of stimulation they like exactly, as I haven’t done a survey on it yet, but rest assured, it’s not atypical, and you aren’t weird for liking it.
For the rest of my readers: if you don’t know if you (or your husband) like nipple stimulation, well, maybe give it a try. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Honestly my wife began to do to me what she like done to her and I enjoy it. Many times she will start sex by manipulating my nipples. She has entered in to some kind of Holiness issues so she has stopped all oral sex. Therefore I take what I can get but I have always been a ” her first” kind of husband. Neck bones and gravy is still okay at 68!

We often hear the question, ‘why do men have nipples when they are useless for feeding babies?’ The answers we get in learned medical books is that they develop whilst we are still a foetus, and our sexual identity has not been settled. Nonesense. Our sexuality is defined at conception. Men’s nipples are a design feature by God to enhance sexual pleasure. God is the opposite of being a kill joy.
