Getting sad cause someone didn’t do what you wanted, although you have been really nice to them?

Getting mad at people for not caring while you do?

Getting disappointed because you were waiting for something else for present?

Oh...okay then just one question:

Who? The? Fuck? Are? You?

People own you nothing, or anyone else for that matter. Action is a choice, and in modern society we have freedom of choice. Nobody owns you anything and neither do you. Does that mean you shouldn’t be nice to people? Nope. Being heartfelt means doing it for people, and not “yeah i will do it and then wait for the same for me”. People should really stop projecting their "boss-employee-i-do-stuff-and-u-gimme-salary-for-that" mindset on basic human relationships.

Your disappointment is your problem. Free your mind. Care because you actually

do. Let it go if it’s holding you down. Live and spread positive energy, because genuine things always come back, but only if you don’t have intentions of getting it back in your head.

Our mind is a cage, that it has built for itself. Once you have freed yourself from mindset that brought you your problems, solving them stops being a meaningless game of curing sickness by treating its symptoms.

Try it! Try it for a week. Stop expecting and just do because you want to, and if you don't want to - don't do it then. Keep record of your mood, give some attention to ur intuition and see if it improves, watch your relationship with right people grow, and stop with those who were never really here. And of course don't forget to share your feedback.
