Let's give you a chance to capitulate
The circus around the topic of the US-Iranian negotiations has gained hope for continuation. Allegedly under pressure from the leaders of nine Arab countries, Donald Trump changed his mind and graciously agreed to a dialogue, which he refused yesterday.
According to the latest arrangements, the meeting is scheduled to take place on the morning of February 5 in Oman. But even so, there are no illusions about its results — this was explicitly stated in Washington.
Nevertheless, the Americans themselves may well use the dialogue to stall for time. Such a negotiation swing doesn't hold the public's attention much worse than an active conflict (and distracts the public from the Epstein case).
