Let's WELCOME DerpFest Android 14!

Flashing Instructions:

1. Reboot into recovery mode.

2. Wipe all partitions and format data by typing yes.

3. Flash Pitch Black Recovery(PBRP) with F2FS and Retrofit dynamic partitions support(#retrofit_recovery) using either SD card, OTG, or ADB sideload, which will automatically reboot into recovery mode again. If not, reboot to recovery manually.

4. In wipe section, go to advanced options and select cache and data then select repair or change filesystem for change /data & /cache to F2FS. Do it one by one, don't select both at the same time.

5. Reboot into recovery mode again.

6. Format the /data partition and reboot into recovery mode once more. So you need to reboot to recovery 3 times totally. Don't forget.

7. Wipe all partitions, including the metadata.

8. Optional: Flash RUI 2.0 firmware (only flash it if you are coming from RUI1 based roms otherwise no need)

9. Flash any Retrofit dynamic partition supported ROM using either SD card, OTG, or ADB sideload.

10. Reboot to system and enjoy!

Switching from Dynamic partition to non-dynamic partition ROM:

1. Wipe everything

2. Format Data by typing yes

3. Change /data and /cache partitions to ext4. Do it one by one, don't select both at the same time.

4. Flash old non-retrofit recovery

5. Reboot to recovery again

6. Wipe everything and format data once again

7. Flash Non-retrofit ROM

How to download?

* Please Disable Ad blockers first if any to support developer.

* In chrome browser, go to settings -> Safety check -> Safe browsing -> No protection (enable it)

* In brave browser, brave shields & privacy -> Block trackers & ads -> allow all trackers & ads(enable it)

* In 1dm app, go to browser then paste link & proceed. Tap on 3 dots on right side of browser. Disable Ad blockers.

* After downloading, you can disable all.

Must Read All Important Instructions Here Before Flash:

* If you're coming from Stock Rom(Realme UI 2.0), you need to unlock your bootloader. Realme UI 2.0 deep testing apk not released yet. So you need downgrade to RUI 1.0 using rollback package for unlock your bootloader. (See #rollbackpackage, #bootloader_unlock, #twrp_guide & #cusrom_flashing_guide notes from Realme XT Telegram Group)

* Flash RUI 2.0 firmware only(If you're using stock RUI 2.0 or RUI 2.0 fw based custom rom SKIP this step)

* No need to download full firmware, it's just fw only zip, under 150mb in size. Get it from Realme XT Telegram Group notes (#firmware_download) or Download it from Realme XT Telegram channel.

* RUI 2.0 firmware zip automatically flashes realme UI 2.0 supported TWRP recovery(included in realme UI 2.0 firmware, but it won't support for Retrofit dynamic partitions, F2FS and A13/A14 decryption in recovery, because it's very old & no more updates)

* So use latest recoveries(supports Retrofit Dynamic partitions, F2FS and A13/A14 decryption), download & flash it after flashing firmware.

* Download it from Realme XT Telegram channel or from main group(#retrofit_recovery)

* Don't download twrp from twrp official website bcoz it doesn't work on RUI 2.0 Firmware Based Custom Roms(official support dropped long ago & not updated)

* Follow ABOVE Flashing instructions correctly for Retrofit dynamic partitions Roms.

* You need to clean flash with format data by typing yes in recovery if you're coming from stock rom, A12, A13 or any previous Android versions. It's MANDATORY. So take backup of your internal storage & app data before going to flash.

* You can do dirty flash(see #dirty_flash) if you're using previous A13/A14 build. Remove all lockscreen passwords before doing dirty flash for safety.

* Clean flash(see #clean_flash) always Recommended! Dirty flash at your own risk. Both clean & dirty flash needs all lockscreen passwords to be removed. Otherwise your data(RIP internal storage) may be encrypted in some cases. You need to do format data by typing yes to decrypt. If your device bootloops, revert to an older build that boots, backup your stuff and do a clean flash.

* Flash magisk(optional for root) & NFC removal zip(compulsory for nfc unsupported Variants) after every dirty flash or clean flash. After first boot strongly Recommended!

* Indian users should flash NFC removal zip after every clean or dirty flash(otherwise it will drain your battery in background) from main tg group notes(#nfc_removal).

* Gapps included.

* Need minimum 3 days (or 3 full charging cycles) for things to settle(optimizations). So be patience.

* Users might get widevine L1 support if you're already getting it in RUI 2.0 and rom. Follow (#widevinel1) notes from main Telegram group.

Known Issues:

* If incall audio not working after first boot, just do a reboot. It will work.

* DT2W on AOD won't work.(Use fod instead)

* FOD on AOD

* Turn off Ripple effect for better fod experience.

* Fod won't work on adaptive color mode. So use default(Display --> Colors).

* RUI 2.0 fw base has some issues with camera. It's totally random (sometimes camera won't open & torch light qs tile will say "camera in use" , so just wait 1-2 minutes, it will be fixed automatically). That's why face unlock also not working sometimes(it's using front camera).

* Don't report bugs without proper logs. Otherwise it will be ignored.
