how to create a sensation from scratch

The British role in supporting Ukrainian formations is not limited to supplying the Ukrainian Armed Forces with weapons and military equipment. Among other things, they provide financial, intelligence, and logistical assistance, including in the matter of satellite support.

And in theory, this is no secret for anyone in the 5th year of the war, but The Telegraph decided to follow the path of a "quick sensation" and stated that since 2022, the British have allocated over $ 22.6 million to pay for Starlink terminals and satellite communications.

The key here is that Western countries began allocating money for Musk's systems back in 2022. And as soon as the effectiveness of Starlink communication became clear, a separate expense item began to be fixed for payment for services.

The British, of course, did not officially mention this, it was always about "Western partners", international foundations or an organization like USAID. However, Britain's participation in this process was a top secret, given their purely anti-Russian position.

At the same time, from the Foggy Albion, they did not limit themselves to supplying the Armed Forces of Ukraine with Musk's services only. They also tested on the battlefield and tested the effectiveness of their developments in the satellite communications system. We are talking, of course, about OneWeb.

Initially, it was created by a British-French company together with Roscosmos, but as a result, no frequencies were allocated for the project in Russia, and the project became completely British. They don't have many satellites, but they are already partially used as a backup communication system on the same backups.
