Fabulous Girlfriends release, with an edge
Girlfriends Films' "Lesbian PsychoDramas" has long been among my favorites of that lesbian label's many hit series, because it presents dramatic scenes and stories that rise above generic porn content by virtue of the tension and conflict between the actresses. After an extremely padded six-volume series subtitled "Messed Up!" encompassing PD #20-22 & 24-26, this stand-alone volume is terrific!

Subject of the four unrelated vignettes (which run 3 hours collectively, value for money), is that of ex-lovers becoming pesky, even violent stalkers. The notion of Restaining Orders is cited repeatedly, and the anonymous director (presumably company honcho Dan O'Connell) whips up considerable suspense along the way to always delivering a passionate Sapphic XXX love scene.

Finale is quite unusual in its introduction of Lactation porn into a mainstream movie, rather than leaving it as a kink that used to be sold on the bottom shelf in the back area of video stores, filed next to Dwarf or Animal porn aimed at perverts. Newcomer Aali Kali is quite a treat with her pointy nipple dripping with milk (without even being touched) as she services lovely Pristine Edge in an imaginative vignette. Pristine is experimenting with a video camera to record herself sleeping, as she suffers from a mysterious malady of Sleep Paralysis, in which she loses all motor functions, only able to move her eyes.

Kali is an ex-lover who comes to her at night and services her, with Pristine thankfully regaining her functioning to participate equally in the second half of this odd Sleeping Beauty episode, its highlight being Kali's breast sex routine of squirting milk into Edge's pussy. I was pleased to see newcomer Kali back in action (with some great nipple close-ups reminiscent of '70s soft-core great Su Ling) in "Cheer Squad Sleepovers Episode 24".

A big draw for me was an amazing doppelganger match-up involving my favorite Euro actress Anissa Kate, who hides in the house where her ex- lover Ella Knox is staying, only to spring out and have forced sex with her. Knox is a truly amazing lookalike (body and features) for Kate who has even a deeper skin tone, bigger natural breasts and a Sabra aspect that reminded me of the all-time Soft-core porn great Joyce Mandel/Alexis Love. This is a match made in heaven.

I suspect Girlfriends fans will most appreciate a threesome in which vulnerable Sierra Nicole gets caught between current lover Mercedes Carrera and mean old flame Brooklyn Chase. Instead of "between a rock and a hard place" Sierra is smothered by four huge breasts and a ton of artistic license.

Final pairing has the ageless Katie Morgan MILFing it up, girl/girl style, with stalker ex-lover young Eliza Jane, bringing two generations of blonde porn icons together in most satisfying fashion. All told, this 27th edition sets a very high standard for the series to live up to in future.
