Lesbian Mommy Issues and Fascinations with Older Women

As I talk to more of my lesbian friends, more and more of them seem to relate to the things I am about to talk about. It was something I kind of pushed down for a while and never told anyone because it made me feel really weird. It didn't seem right. That's having these weird fixations/ fascinations with older women. Specifically about my teachers.
It started in 7th grade. This was long before I had any idea that I was attracted to other girls. She was my science teacher. I had this weird feeling I got when I saw her. I wanted to please her. I wanted to be near her. I remember one specific time we were outside doing a science experiment or something, and she was putting her hair in a bun. I could not look away. I was so in awe by her. I would have these day dream fantasies where she would just hold me and hug me. Act in a motherly way toward me. I could not stop thinking about how much I was drawn toward her and I literally had no idea what this meant. I was super embarrassed by it though and I never told a soul.
I remember having these fascinations about my female teachers going way back to elementary school. Everyone has those "before they go to sleep scenarios" they create in their head before the go to sleep. Well mine when I was in first grade were about my female teacher. I would imagine me falling and spilling my food in the cafeteria and she came and hugged me as I cried. She comforted me in a way that made me feel so good. Again, in a very motherly way.
I can't even get started on high school, oh my GOD. At this point I knew I was a lesbian. So these mommy issues really took off. These fascinations and weird feelings were coming our more than ever. First my math teacher, then my English teachers, they made me feel so safe. I loved when they would talk about how we can go to them for anything, or how they are always here for us. That sense of comfort I felt with them felt amazing. I would sit in class and daydream about me coming in crying super sad, and them holding me and playing with my hair and telling me it was all going to be ok. That there was nothing to worry about. I never felt like I could go to my mom in these situations. So I got comfort in imagining going to my teachers. Specifically female.
Growing up I HATED when my mom hugged me or showed me any sort of physical affection. It made me feel sick. This quickly caused me and my mom to not be super close. We fought a lot in my teenage years which is when these older women fascinations started really coming out. I was looking for a way to fill this void with other older woman who were in my life. I wanted their attention. When a female teacher would put her hand on my shoulder or run her fingers through my hair, it hit me like no other. It was the best feeling in the world. Fireworks would go off through me.
And now being the lesbian with raging mommy issues that I am, I have these fascinations about older celebrities like Sarah Paulson, Aubrey Plaza, Laura Prepon, you know:) So please let me know if I am the only girl who had this fun problem growing up or if you felt it too. Pls tell me I'm not weird hahaha lol lol
