"Arthur told me about you" said Martha as I was taking this shot "this is one of those 'upskirt shots' that the lizard man wanted, isn't it". I thought for a moment "Not at all", I said "I would never dream of being so indiscreet towards a ladybird". Martha seemed appeased and wasn't too bothered as i hastily snapped the shot. I turned away and was previewing the shots on the camera when Martha peered over my shoulder. "Mmm", she said "is that what you would call 'great exposure' cos that's how it looks to me!". I had to admit that this shot showed all of the undercarriage of this beautiful ladybird, what could I do. "Martha," I said "I can assure you that Mr. Bwana is only joking - that's just the way he is. He's a big softy really with high morals - he just likes to talk dirty in his alter ego persona on flickr". "I'm not too sure", said Martha "No model release form for you if you don't do something about it!". I had to think on my feet, it was a good shot, the composition was nice, Martha was busy climbing from one branch to another and the lighting was very good. The 3 v shapes in the picture counterbalanced each other nicely and the focus on Martha was good too. Although it was not a stacked shot, the DoF was enough to create a pleasing image, what could I do. "I know, Martha, just wait here a few minutes, I'll be back". I rushed inside, tweaked the image and went outside to show Martha - she signed the release form and here is the resulting pic.
