Moduł ledowy LEDDY TUBE PLANT jest przeznaczony do oświetlania słodkowodnych akwariów roślinnych. Zawiera starannie dobrane diody LED, które zapewniają idealną iluminację akwarium gwarantując doskonałe warunki do życia dla jego mieszkańców. Można instalować go w pokrywach i lampach Aquael. Dzięki zastosowaniu adapterów T5/T8 można również instalować go w dowolnej pokrywie lub lampie dedykowanej dla tradycyjnych świetlówek akwarystycznych. Akcesoryjny wieszak DUBLED umożliwia dodanie do lampy lub pokrywy dodatkowego modułu i zwiększenie w ten sposób oświetlenia zbiornika.
Moduł został zaprojektowany i wyprodukowany w Polsce w fabryce firmy Aquael, która od 1984 r. dostarcza akwarystom produkty pełne dobrze zaprojektowanych rozwiązań.
Przyczyny są najczęściej dwie. Po pierwsze, zbiornik ma ładnie, czyli naturalnie wyglądać. Światło ma sprawiać, że ryby i rośliny będą miały piękne, właściwe dla danego gatunku kolory, a całość będzie stanowiła niekwestionowaną ozdobę pomieszczenia. Drugi cel jest równie ważny – ogromna większość akwarystów pragnie bowiem posiadać w akwarium zdrowe, dobrze rosnące rośliny. A rośliny do wzrostu przez 10-12 godzin na dobę potrzebują wszak światła stanowiącego „napęd” fotosyntezy – naturalnego procesu w rezultacie którego przekształcają one związki nieorganiczne w substancje organiczne niezbędne im do życia. Tak więc prawidłowo dobrane światło ma jednocześnie gwarantować, że akwarium będzie ładnie wyglądało, a rośliny będą w nim dobrze rosły.
Diody LED zainstalowane w module LEDDY TUBE PLANT emitują światło o temperaturze barwowej 9000 K. Zapewnia to dobre warunki dla roślin akwariowych oraz gwarantuje wierne odwzorowanie barw wszystkich mieszkańców akwarium.
Jak dużo światła wymaga akwarium? To zależy, jakie gatunki roślin zamierzamy w nim uprawiać. Pod względem wymagań świetlnych można podzielić je na trzy grupy:
Grupa I – gatunki cienioznośne, np. „pelia”, mchy, mikrozorium oskrzydlone, nurzaniec śrubowy, niektóre zwartki (np. zwartka aponogetonolistna, zwartka Wendta, zwartka Backetta, zwartka malajska), anubiasy.
Grupa II – gatunki średnio światłolubne, np. gałęzatka kulista, wgłębka wodna, różdżyce, lotos tygrysi, ludwigie, nadwódka szerokolistna, nadwódka trójkwiatowa, żabienice, strzałka szerokolistna, moczarka argentyńska, nurzaniec olbrzymi, zwartki, limnofile, bakopa drobnolistna, krynia tajlandzka, ponikło, blyksa japońska, wywłóczniki.
Grupa III – gatunki zdecydowanie światłolubne, np. kabomby, „glossostigma”, hemiantus.
Zwykle stosuje się przeliczenie mocy oświetlenia na litraż akwarium. Umownie przyjmuje się, że w przypadku lamp ledowych do uprawy roślin cienioznośnych konieczne jest min. 0,15-0,2 W na każdy litr wody. Średnio wymagające rośliny potrzebują już 0,25-0,4 W/l, zaś te zdecydowanie światłolubne nawet 0,5-0,7 W/l.
„Dzień” w akwarium może przypadać praktycznie na dowolną część doby. Jeśli zbiornik stoi daleko od okien i jest oświetlany wyłącznie światłem sztucznym to godziny włączania i wyłączania oświetlenia mogą być praktycznie dowolne. Najlepiej po prostu dostosować je do naszych preferencji i godzin w których zwykle jesteśmy obecni w mieszkaniu (np. „świt” o 15:00 i „zmierzch” o 1:00). Możemy wtedy do woli rozkoszować się pięknem rzęsiście oświetlonego, własnego „kawałka podwodnego świata”.

AQUAEL LEDDY TUBE combines high usability with ease of installation and versatility of use. A LEDDY TUBE module consists of a technologically advanced 3- or 6-Watt light-emitting diode encased in a rounded glass tube welded to the power cord.
The colour temperature of the light emitted by the LED is about 6500 K. Thanks to its low own weight (just 124 g without the electrical cord), LEDDY TUBE can be easily fitted into aquarium lamps and lids. The European IPX8 air tightness standard ensures that LEDDY TUBE modules can be safely used in aquarium conditions, also when submerged in water.

An advantage of LED modules is their durability. Unlike the regular fluorescent lamps, whose light output drops by half after one year of use, LEDs can be used for many years without replacement, thereby saving even more money. The also emit the same amount of light as fluorescent lamps whilst consuming half the energy.
The Leddy tube modules are very easy to install. Each model is supplied with special adapters so that they can be assembled into any luminaire T5, T8 or the retro fits. The modules draw power from an independent supply source. Four versions of the product are available: two for freshwater aquariums, the Leddy Sunny, which emits light with a colour temperature of 6500 K similar to natural sunlight, and Leddy plant with a colour temperature of 8000 K, designed to enhance the growth of aquatic plants. Two for marine aquariums, Leddy Marine, which emits light with a colour temperature of 10000 K, designed to improve corals growth and Leddy Actinic - 20000 K - for better colours of corals.

De Aquael leddy tube retrofit 16watt vervangt een T5 TL lamp van 84,9cm / 39 watt of een T8 TL lamp van 90cm / 30 watt.
Aquael Leddy tube retrofit lampen zijn eenvoudig te monteren in alle merken bestaande aquaria.
Dankzij het unieke aansluit systeem klikt u op de zijkant van de ledlamp een ”TL voetje”, hierdoor kunt u hem eenvoudig ophangen in de bestaande TL aansluitingen. De ledlamp heeft een eigen stroomkabel welke u in het stopcontact kunt steken.
Ook als uw TL dus niet meer werkt zullen onze ledlampen gewoon branden!
De Aquael Leddy tube Plant is een speciale plantenlamp welke een lichtspectrum uitstaalt van 8000K wat perfect is voor zelfs de moeilijkste soorten aquariumplanten. Alle LED lampen zijn getest in de fabriek voor ze worden verzonden, kwaliteit staat voorop.
De lampen worden compleet geleverd inclusief alle benodigdheden.
Aquael leddy tube retrofit plant 16 watt is te gebruiken om TL lampen te vervangen van 820mm tot 950mm lengte.
