Learning Human Design: Part 0, Understanding the purpose of the Human Design
Leonid TolokinThe purpose of this series of articles is to enable beginners or amateurs of the Human Design knowledge system to independently find and systematize information on the bodygraph of any person (first of all on oneself, beloved), and to decipher the rave chart with different degree of detail.

People get acquainted with the Human Design in different ways. Most often, a person who is already somehow interested in esotericism receives an “invitation” to study this system either through people he knows or through advertising on the Internet. I emphasize that this action will be exactly an invitation, and its acceptance is possible only if a person is ready to perceive the world differently, not as he did before this moment of acquaintance with HD.
Based on this thesis, it becomes clear why imposing the knowledge of Human Design will not work - it is purely voluntary.
Many people, even after hearing the truth about themselves and sensible recommendations, do not change their lives (and do not even change their attitude to their lives), because they do not understand:
- what is Human Design?
- where are the areas of its application?
- what can be achieved with its help?
Do I know the answers? Probably not, but I have my own vision of the answers, which I believe are close to the true ones.
Human Design is a system of knowledge that describes the talents and skills of a person's soul at any point in their life.
Since most people have the concepts of “human soul” and “human physical body” linked into one, inseparable whole, the word “soul” can be excluded from the definition without loss of quality for the majority.
As follows from the principle of duality, the description of human talents will necessarily be accompanied by the description of negative manifestations of these human talents. Studying both sides of any life process helps to accept one's shortcomings in oneself and minimize their manifestations.

Human Design is a system of knowledge that is derived from revelation and combines several esoteric systems (Astrology, Chakra System, Kabbalah, I Ching).
Although the transmission of information by the Voice is not called Divine Revelation (perhaps in order not to meet resistance from religiously inclined people), in essence the process of knowledge transmission occurred similarly to the emergence of information about the major world religions: Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc.
Human Design is a multi-layered (or multi-leveled) system of knowledge, each element of which is connected with other elements.
For an initial understanding of the structure of Human Design, imagine a house, the foundation of which is made up of Gates and Gate Lines, the walls are made up of Bodygraph Centers and Channels, and there is a roof made up of Type, Profile, Strategy and Inner Authority.
The peculiarities of people's education in most countries of the world have led to the fact that the initial study of HD is done “from above”, through the description of elements that are not in the Bodygraph. Since after calculation in specialized programs the “correct” answer is given immediately, most of the problems with learning lie in the wrong sequence of description of a person's “uniqueness”.

I'll write at once what can't be done with the help of Human Design:
1) Describe the person's appearance (not to be confused with his/her perception by other people) - height, build, gender, skin and eye color, physical strength, endurance;
2) Specify the time of important and unimportant events in the person's life;
3) Specify the behavior of a person in specific situations;
4) Specify global principles of building personal and working relationships with other people.
What can be done with the knowledge of Human Design:
1) Recognize the potential talents, skills, “advantages” of any person based only on their time, date and place of birth;
2) Recognize the potential “negative” qualities of any person;
3) To learn how any 2 people would tend to interact with each other at the level of individual behavior patterns, assuming they can behave “naturally” in communication;
4) To learn how, with a minimum of effort, to make any person physically and psychologically healthy and satisfied with living his life to the best of his ability under the external conditions in which he finds himself;
5) To find out by what principles any person will choose his partners in work, friendship, personal life, and also to calculate the time of changes of these principles and duration of these changes.
6) To find out how a person chooses a place of residence, type and mode of nutrition, if a person has an opportunity to realize his right of free choice, as well as what type of thinking he will have.
After compiling and deciphering a person's bodygraph and finding out the details of his/her life, it is possible to find out what external patterns of behavior are embedded in a person by the society, relatives, parents, etc.
In my opinion, the study of the Human Design knowledge system, as well as the application of the acquired knowledge in practice by each person, will be effective only in case of taking into account his/her bodygraph.
Important points to consider when transferring knowledge:
- type of thinking (right or left mind);
- type of information perception (visual or acoustic);
- Type of person (self or other-oriented).
Thank you for your attention.
