Slot missions are a great way to earn gear weapons, gear and other items. They're not easy to complete.

Gear Slot
The game's beginning players will notice their gear slots quickly get full, resulting in the common "Your Gear Slots are full" message, which blocks Max from acquiring new equipment until the old items are removed or space is obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenges. Since a lot of these challenges can be missed and are scattered around the world, it may take a while to reach the most inventory slots in the game.
Five Gear Slots can be filled with up to 5 different gear types, which must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a break-in begins. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) is a part of one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) only uses one Gear Slot.

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups that are on the map. These locations allow you to keep items that do not fit into your slot for weapons or gear and retrieve them later.

This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To begin these missions, simply contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on armor and snacks. Once you've reached the marker for your mission be sure to identify a group at the time you arrive.
