Reality star Nene Leakes appears to have made herself a cozy spot in headlines following recent events. Amid her lawsuit against Bravo, Andy Cohen and “ The Real Housewives of Atlanta” production reportedly over racism and creating a hostile environment, Leakes is facing her own legal troubles after being sued by her boyfriend’s estranged wife, Melamine Tehmeh-Sioh .
However, during an interview with V-103’s “The Big Tigger Morning Show,” the 54-year-old dished on several ongoing matters catching social media by storm, including her reported recent surgical procedure , which included liposuction 360 and a “mini BBL” (Brazilian butt lift).
Now while the former “Housewives” star couldn’t speak on the suit against her former employer and its associates, she did confirm with co-hosts Patricia “Ms. Pat” Williams and Shamea Morton that “we do have a lawsuit is all I can tell you,” she said as she chuckled.
The “Glee” actress later addressed the $100,000 suit filed by Tehmeh-Sioh last June. The woman is claiming that Leakes slept with her estranged husband, Nyonisela Sioh , while he was still married to her.
Leakes appeared to be just as confused as the hosts by the suit stating, “But as far as Nyoni’s wife or … they’re divorcing. So, I’m not sure exactly why she would sue me.”
In her suit, Melamine claims she was humiliated when Leakes flaunted their relationship online by posting photos with her husband. She said she’d suffered emotional distress, mental anguish and loss of affection.
However, Leakes argued that “her and Nyoni were not together” before adding, “I didn’t meet him while he was with her. I spoke out about it.”
She continued, “I feel like it was more of a shakedown,” describing Melamine’s lawsuit attempt as “we can’t get him, let’s get her.” She added, “And of course, I can make a good headline for you.”
The actress maintained that she’s “not the kind of person who would steal somebody’s husband” before questioning, “How does that work anyway?” Leakes began dating the Liberian businessman three months after the passing of her late husband, Gregg Leakes .
She confirmed their relationship by sharing Instagram photos of the couple in December 2021.

When Bravo TV covered the re-marriage of the duo, Gregg’s career as a reality star again got back on track. In 2017 he took part in the MasterChef Celebrity Showdown and also in the Tag Team challenge.
There have been many controversies surrounding Gregg Leakes and his wife NeNe. A report in 2014 claimed that the duo had a criminal past record and were arrested multiple times under different charges. According to many, Gregg has climbed the stairs of success only because of his wife NeNe. There were also claims and accusations against Gregg at the time of his divorce from NeNe in 2011. After they remarried in 2013, many controversies came up and many thought the divorce and remarriage was just a publicity stunt to give their career a boost.
Gregg Leakes was born on 18 August 1954, in Atlanta, U.S.A. Not much information about his personal life before marrying NeNe Leakes is available. However, he already had children from his former relationships when he married NeNe, in 1997. In 1999, he had his first son, Brentt, with NeNe. The reason of his breakup with NeNe in 2011 is still not very clear. However, in 2013, they remarried and currently they are living together happily.

Gregg Leakes was a famous American reality star and the husband of the The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes. He earned fame by being the voice of reason on the same show in which NeNe participated for continuous 8 years. Before he became a reality star, he was into real estate business. Born and raised in Atlanta, Gregg Leakes did not go to any top notch business school for his college degree, but the lack of formal qualification did not stop this self-taught businessman from achieving success. After his divorce from Nene in 2011, he went out of the radar of reality shows for a few years but whe the couple decided to remarry in 2013, Gregg was back as part of reality shows. Bravo TV covered the duo’s second wedding under a spin-off title I Dream of Nene: The Wedding and this show brought Gregg Leakes limelight and stardom once again. The couple participated in a number of reality shows together after their second marriage. Gregg was diagnosed with Colon cancer in 2018 and succumbed to the disease on September 1, 2021.
Gregg Leakes had a humble beginning and was not very successful in business during his early life. When Gregg married NeNe Leakes in 1997, she was seriously struggling with her career too. How exactly the duo made all the ends meet during that time is still a matter of question to many.
Gregg Leakes was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2018. In June 2021, Nene Leakes revealed that the cancer had returned. Gregg succumbed to the deadly disease at his home in Atlanta on September 1, 2021.

Reality television star Nene Leakes has joined the ranks of many celebrities and enhanced her rump. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum collaborated with Georgia Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery as their ambassador to document her BBL (Brazilian butt lift) surgery, and she’s not shy about it at all.
Leakes posted a short reel highlighting her BBL surgery to her Instagram page with the caption, “I did it! I got a ‘𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐁𝐋’ with Dr. Okoro! Follow my surgery journey with Dr. Okoro at Georgia Plastic. I’m almost ready to show off my new snatched look but I want you to be snatched too!⁣” wrote Leakes.
In the video, Leakes is seen walking into Dr. Okoro’s office, preparing for her surgery. The 54-year-old greets the staff and the doctor with a hug. She’s then prepped for surgery and rolled off into the operating room, where Dr. Okoro’s team begins creating Leake’s new body.
In her second Instagram post , Leakes details her decision to get surgery and her partnership with Georgia Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. She explains that she and Dr. Okoro are going on a “Perfectly Pretty You” journey together. She also reminds her fans that plastic surgery is nothing new to her since she’s already gotten her nose and boobs done in the past.
Leakes explained that her original intentions were to remove fat from her back, sides, and stomach. However, after a consultation with Dr. Okoro, they decided to move the fat into her buttocks.

Real Housewives of Atlanta alum NeNe Leakes, 55, has reportedly dropped her lawsuit against Bravo producers and Andy Cohen, 54, after accusing the network of ignoring alleged racism claims on the set.
According to reports, a document filed on Friday (Aug.19) in Atlanta courts shared NeNe Leakes and Bravo had filed a joint dismissal without prejudice– meaning she can re-open the case in the future. The court documents confirming the dismissal does not state why NeNe decided to drop her claims at this time.
“All Parties consent and stipulate the foregoing dismissal…No party will seek recovery of costs or attorney’s fees in any submission to this Court.”
NeNe was on “RHOA” from season one, which aired in 2008, until season 12, which aired in 2019. Earlier this year the reality star turned businesswoman sued Bravo and Andy Cohen over claims that she suffered years of racist remarks from former co-star Kim Zolciak-Biermann , who is white.

According to the lawsuit, NeNe was subjected to consequences from the network and their respective production companies because they,
“foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated — if not, encouraged.”
NeNe has been pretty vocal about her issues with Andy Cohen since leaving “ Real Housewives Of Atlanta .” In April, she claimed that Andy “sabotaged” negotiations surrounding her potential Sirius XM radio show. She’s also previously claimed the TV host is racist and aided to the alleged toxic work environment she experienced during her time on “ RHOA. ”
Earlier this month, the reality TV star took to Twitter to fire off a couple of subliminal messages regarding her discrimination lawsuit against Andy Cohen and the Bravo network. NeNe Leakes said:
“They stop every job opportunity that comes my way.”
“I am happy I was able to help all the other black women get job opportunities that are working for them.”
“He stopped me from working because I was a threat to his career! Yet he was able to abuse me for years.”
“I want to release these voice recordings so bad .”
