League of Legends Lecture

League of Legends Lecture is intended for those that wish to learn how to improve their gameplay mechanics, micro/macro knowledge, champion lore and rank. This article does not focus on how to improve at the competitive esports level, it is geared towards players that are simply looking to break into this world.

Before millions of players, billions in revenue, and esports tournaments that draw 100 million viewers worldwide, Riot Games founders Marc Merrill and Brandon Beck began developing League of Legends. As they worked to build what would eventually become one of the most popular video games in history, they found themselves delving into a complex web of design decisions, risky leaps of faith, and unrelenting dedication to their vision.

But even as they pushed forward on their path to game release, the core team began to fracture. According to co-founder Jeff Jew, many of them were focused on building a DOTA clone very quickly while others believed in slowing down and pushing the quality bar much higher. These two ideals clashed and in early 2008, three of the four members left the company.

While there are many benefits to playing League of Legends, it is important to remember that it is a game that can be very time consuming. Spending too much time on Summoner's Rift can have negative consequences on work, school, and personal relationships. In addition, sleep is essential for both health and cognitive performance, so it is important to prioritize it when playing League. Lastly, playing past midnight can make it difficult to concentrate and focus on other tasks.롤대리
