What are we building?
Our next-generation platform combines high-performance backend services with deep integration into Kubernetes, virtualization technologies, and modern cloud infrastructure. We are also driving a strategic migration from Java to Rust, with the aim of maximizing efficiency and maintainability from day one.
Who are we looking for?
A Lead Rust Developer who will design and implement backend systems in Rust, lead our Rust initiatives, and shape the architecture for years to come. You will work closely with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration across the infrastructure stack.
Tech stack:
Rust, Kubernetes, Docker, KVM, gRPC, REST, Kafka/RabbitMQ, MariaDB/MySQL, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
What we expect from candidates:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years working with Rust in production
- Deep knowledge of Rust’s ownership model, concurrency, and async programming
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and public cloud environments
- Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems design
- Solid networking and security skills, including protocols and performance tuning
- Experience with gRPC, REST APIs, and messaging systems (Kafka or RabbitMQ)
- Comfortable with CI/CD automation and pipelines
- Experience with relational databases (MariaDB, MySQL)
- Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
- Upper-intermediate/advanced English for global team collaboration
Nice to have:
- Contributions to Rust open-source projects
- Background in Java development
- Experience with WebAssembly (WASM)
