As a Lead QA Engineer, you will be a part of our rapidly growing IT department and lead the Payments QA team. This includes also hands-on QA tasks both manual and automation. 

The product is a set of microservices on NodeJS, TypeScript.

Primary location: Cyprus office, fully remote can be discussed. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform functional and non-functional testing of the backend product
• Interact with the development and product team to improve the product quality
• Review tests done by other team members, bugs and features verification and regression tests automation
• Participate in review and analysis of requirements and formulation acceptance tests
• Responsible for leading and directing QA engineers in the Payments team
• Implement and record QA metrics
• Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance and operate as a primary point of contact for the QA in the Payments team
• Provide technical expertise in Test Design, Testing Methodologies, Testing Processes, Tools, and Techniques inside Payments team

Requirements:

• University Degree in Computer Science or other IT related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Tester or Quality Assurance Engineer (Backend)
• 1+ years of experience as a QA Lead
• Knowledge of any Programming language, preferably Javascript, Typescript
• Strong understanding of backend-related technologies: microservices, CI/CD
• Ability to work with requirements and create test cases accordingly
• Knowledge of methods and processes used in software quality assurance
• Excellent command of English, and Russian in an advantage
• Passion to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and multicultural environment
• Effective Communication, Leadership skills, Analytical Prioritization skills
• Experience in some of the following will be considered an advantage:

    - Stocks Trading or/and Forex or/and Banking industry

    - Agile methodology
